Black Canary (DC) & Cyblade (Cyberforce)
vs.
Johnny Cage (Mortal Kombat) & Terry Bogard (King of Fighters)
Location: busy Times Square
Tournament rules
The teams simply appear in their environments at 100% health and strength.
They have no prep time before the battle.
They know instinctively that they are to fight together against the team in front of them.
The partners do know each other because the 1 on 1 rounds happened so they’ve been on the receiving end of each others’ attacks.
All characters are in their regular mindset but are properly motivated to win within their moral boundaries.
To win:
-submission/incapacitation (unable to continue fighting for a ten second count)
-knock out (again, ten second count)
-out of ring (if on a rooftop, cliff or something) flight negates this avenue of victory
-death/destruction
2nd chance round add ons:
-The characters appear, from their perspective, immediately after their last fight back at 100%.
-
- They have their memories of working with their partner last time but they haven’t seen any of the other teams yet. So these fights are all still first encounters.

New 52 Black Canary I think is still a better fighter then Johnny Cage and has his Canary Cry she can use as a last resort. Problem is Terry can beat Cyblade with his fighting abilities and special moves. Hard call here but I think Black Canary with her experience tips the scales for Team One.

This one can easily go either way. Both Johnny and Terry are powerful and top skilled fighters that Black Canary will absolutely have to go to her canary cry to win. Only Terry is so powerful that he might take her out before she gets to that point.
Cyblade won't go down easily but I think either guy could take her eventually.
I'm going with the guys cause I can see them out powering that ladies. A rematch would go differently.

Black Canary could take out Johnny with her canary cry too in reverse and Cyblade is more then capable of beating Terry.

Like I said, could easily go either way but Canary won't use her power right away and Johnny and Terry can definitely hand with her and their special attacks are used quite often and more readily available. The canary cry calls for a sort of wind up that they may be able to check and stop before she back blow the skin off their bones. Huntress did it in the cartoon.

Black Canary a lot of the times actually does use her canary cry first. This is New 52 and Canary can do it from the start on the fly. It only takes her seconds to wind up. Its only when she uses it too many times or does one huge one she may need to take time to build it back up. Yea Cage or his partner go down first by her Cry and then whoever is left gets double teamed. Cage's power up was a one time thing. Cage is still a highly skilled fighter but with
