Finn or Guy Gardner; which character is better?
Finn, aka FN-2187 Birthplace: Unknown Species: Human Gender: Male Continuity: Canon Prominent appearances: "Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens" & "Before the Awakening" Character traits: Finn was more sensitive, empathetic and moral than his fellow stormtroopers, and he was horrified by the things he witnessed while he worked for the First Order; after he left the First Order and joined the Resistance, Finn appeared to be fearful and socially inept due to his upbringing as a stormtrooper but was ultimately courageous and protective of those that he cared about.
Guy Gardner, aka Green Lantern Birthplace: USA Species: Human Gender: Male Continuity: New 52 Prime Earth Prominent appearances: "Green Lantern Corps Volume 3 #1" & "Convergence #6" Character traits: While he had immense willpower, Guy Gardner was far more loudmouthed, cocky and thuggish than any of the other human members of the Green Lantern Corps, and his surprisingly great anger allowed him to use a Red Lantern power ring while he worked as an undercover agent of the Green Lantern Corps to spy on the Red Lantern Corps.

I have to vote Finn. I love his backstory of a stormtrooper who broke rank, turned against the Empire, and sided on the force of the rebellion. Also Finn showed you how well trained and good in combat Storm troopers are. I love his story. Guy is great but nothing new has been added to his character arc and he is the same old Guy we all know.
