Johnny Cage or Liu Kang; which character is better?
Skills and Powers of Johnny Cage:
Being a descendant of a Mediterranean war cult that altered their own genetics, Johnny Cage was able to create a green aura around himself that could help him accomplish unnatural feats. With this green energy power, Cage could throw green fireballs, slide along the ground with no propulsion, enhance his strength, and in periods of extreme emotional stress he could make himself impervious to harm. Furthermore, he could also create doppelgangers of himself made out of solid yellow energy. Johnny was proficient in generic martial arts techniques. Despite being a professional movie star, Johnny's acting skills apparently left much to be desired according to other human characters but were still good enough to appease the likes of Tremor.

Liu Kang was once considered to be Earthrealm's ultimate champion due to his amazing abilities and skills. Using his spiritual chi energy, Liu Kang was able to throw fireballs, pull off gravity-defying moves like the "Bicycle Kick", transform into a giant fiery dragon, control light and darkness, set himself on fire, and teleport. Liu Kang's fighting style was based on jeet kun do. Liu Kang also had superhuman strength.
