Cyrax or Shao Kahn; which character is better?
Trivia about Cyrax:
- Cyrax has appeared in more Mortal Kombat games than any other cyborg ninja character.
- Cyrax was the only character from "Mortal Kombat 3" to appear in "Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance".
- In the rebooted Mortal Kombat universe, Cyrax was the one who destroyed the Cyber Lin Kuei after he retained his humanity.
Trivia about Shao Kahn:
- Shao Kahn was said to have been killed by Shang Tsung and Quan Chi in "Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance", yet he reappeared in the GameCube port of the sequel, "Mortal Kombat: Deception". It was later explained that the Shao Kahn that the Deadly Alliance killed was actually a clone decoy of the real Shao Kahn.
- In "Mortal Kombat: Deception", a backwards-talking non-playable character in the game's Konquest Mode can be heard saying that Shao Kahn is a god like Raiden, except he was sent by the Elder Gods to protect Outworld instead of Earthrealm if his backwards language is deciphered. Whether or not this information is true is a mystery.
- Even though Shao Kahn was apparently carried away from the Pyramid of Argus in "Mortal Kombat: Armageddon" by Onaga, he still somehow managed to make his way back and climb to the top of the structure.
