Kintaro or Sonya Blade; which character is better?
Trivia about Kintaro:
- Kintaro was originally designed to be a two-armed tiger-like humanoid character, but was later retooled to be a successor to Goro as the Shokan miniboss of the second Mortal Kombat game.
- The reason that Kintaro had a more feline appearance than Goro in the canon of the video games is because Kintaro hails from the savage Tigrar lineage whereas Goro hails from the Draco lineage.
- Kintaro was the first character in the Mortal Kombat series who could perform a move called the "Teleport Stomp", an ability that both Goro and Sheeva would be able to use in later games.
