Sub-Zero or Liu Kang; which character is better?
Trivia about Sub-Zero: - Alongside Scorpion, Sub-Zero appeared in a few other Midway Games titles such as "The Grid" as a secret playable character. - The reason why Sub-Zero appeared in "Mortal Kombat X" in organic form even though he had been converted into a cyborg ninja by the Lin Kuei in the previous game is because Quan Chi transferred Sub-Zero's soul back into a humanoid body after his cybernetic body had not reacted well to Quan Chi's mind control. - Before he took his brother's title of "Sub-Zero", Kuai Liang had the codename "Tundra", which is one of the potential names that the original Sub-Zero, Bi-Han had during the first Mortal Kombat game's development.
Trivia about Liu Kang: - Liu Kang apparently had a brother named Chow Kang who hasn't been mentioned since the first Mortal Kombat game. - Liu Kang's original finishing move from "Mortal Kombat" was meant to be less brutal-looking than the other characters' finishing moves to highlight Liu Kang's less violent nature as a Shaolin monk. - Liu Kang died and then came back from the dead in some way in both the original and rebooted Mortal Kombat video game timelines.

Liu Kang even though he died still has the feat of being both Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn. I have to say overall in a fight and as a character he is still better as the Chosen One.

Considering that Liu Kang got 2 votes and a comment in his favour, I'd say that he'd go forward to the next round unless anyone had any objections.
