Dracula
Goliath (Gargoyles)
Here are the fight parameters…
They have their standard gear they are seen using most often.
Combatants are in character. This means their usual set of morals apply.
This is a random encounter (no prep for either side). Both sides have no immediate knowledge of their opponents.
The fight takes place in Castle Doom. The combatants start on opposite floors of the castle.
Death or Incapacitation are the ONLY ways to win.

Which version of Dracula? I was thinking just the basic Dracula. Perhaps the old Marvel comics version.

In that case, I think Goliath may stand a good chance against Marvel's and many other versions of Dracula. Goliath is probably as strong or stronger than most Draculas, and he's smart and learned enough on magical beings that he may possibly be able to exploit their weaknesses. The transformations and healing factors of various versions of Dracula may be tough for him to deal with, though.

What an even and compelling match-up.

This is a very good match where either would win and both are perfect opponents for each other. Classic Dracula remember though has a variety of powers. Shapeshifting to a certain extend, hypnotic abilities, telepathy, illusion, control over animals to a certain extend, control over the weather to a certain extent, and more. Goliath is going to have a hard time landing attacks. I have to think about this one.

I vote Dracula. He has too options as far as abilities and how he can battle Goliath here. I think the fight would go on for a long time but sooner or later Dracula's variety of abilities becomes too much.
