Here are the fight parameters…

They have their standard gear they are seen using most often.

Combatants are in character. This means their usual set of morals apply.

This is a random encounter (no prep for either side). Both sides have no immediate knowledge of their opponents.

The fight takes place in an old German castle. The combatants start on opposite sides of the castle.

Death or Incapacitation are the ONLY ways to win.

Great fight. Vlad has the superior experience learning combat skills from Order of Dragon, his time in Constantinople, and more. Vlad has a variety of combat skills, education, and more. Jon is a excellent swordsman but and this will be a long fight but I think Vlad's variety of experience wins it for him in the end. This fight could swing either way as Jon is such a good swordsman he could probably beat Vlad. However Vlad has my vote.

As much as I love Vlad and know he has better odds of winning, I think I'll still go with Jon.

Jon has fought a constant uphill battle and is usually always outnumbered and out-maneuvered. He will come into this fight the underdog and come out the winner. But it will be very very close.

He has probably been in that same situation way more then Jon. Plus he has learned combat and more it seems from various areas in the world throughout his early life.
