Grim Reaper (Marvel) & Mr. Freeze (DC)
vs.
Athena (King of Fighters) & Jubilee (Marvel)
Location: the zoo
Tournament rules
The teams simply appear in their environments at 100% health and strength.
They have no prep time before the battle.
They know instinctively that they are to fight together against the team in front of them.
The partners do know each other because the 1 on 1 rounds happened so they’ve been on the receiving end of each others’ attacks.
All characters are in their regular mindset but are properly motivated to win within their moral boundaries.
To win:
-submission/incapacitation (unable to continue fighting for a ten second count)
-knock out (again, ten second count)
-out of ring (if on a rooftop, cliff or something) flight negates this avenue of victory
-death

I still see Jubilee as the teenaged X-Man, but she's actually a little older now. For the record I'm going with classic Jubilee (I don't know if she still has that vampire thing going on).
She and Athena are actually pretty dangerous, but Grim Reaper especially will be a challenge for them and Mr. Freeze backing him should put team 1 over.

There is no way Mr.Freeze could even take one blast from Jubliee. Jubliee with one big blast bursts open Freeze's suit and then Freeze is pretty much choking on the ground in pain. Then Jubliee and Athena double team Reaper for the win.

Athena would probably just annoy her opponents to death with her ear-piercingly high pitched voice.

You've got a point with Mr. Freeze. His suite isn't very durable even in Batman Beyond. Jubilee would take him out rather easily. But I just see Grim Reaper being too much for either girl and I think he can keep his partner in the fight because a lot of the attention will be on him. He's faster and more menacing looking. Freeze can stay back and blast them when their not looking.

I looked up Reaper and his abilities would make him a hard foe to put down for sure so I could see him winning it for his team as well plus in the earlier days Reaper is the type of villain I could see Jubliee getting herself taken out the fight after she beats Freeze. Though it also could be Jubliee blasts him away from a distance while Athena distracts him.
