X-Men (Animated Series)
Here are the fight parameters…
They have their standard gear they are seen using most often.
Combatants are in character. This means their usual set of morals apply.
This is a random encounter (no prep for either side). Both sides have no immediate knowledge of their opponents.
The fight takes place in New New York. The combatants start on opposite sides of the city.
Death or Incapacitate are the ONLY ways to win.

This match is a stomp. In which direction the stomp would go depends completely on if Jean can become the Phoenix during the match.

The most current version of Jean on that show is the Phoenix. Even if it isn't once one of her friends dies in combat Jean is going to flip out and go Phoenix. I say X-Men win. Also Wolverine's claws are more then capable of slicing through the Androids.

18 got my vote. Even if Jean survives the fight, 18 can still wipe out the rest of the X-Men. Effectively defeating the X-Men.

The most current version of Jean on that show is the Phoenix. Not at all. After Jean was killed in the climax of the Dark Phoenix Saga, the Phoenix itself literally rose from her ashes and revived her, completely Phoenix-free. Jean never showed any hint of having Phoenix powers after that. Also Wolverine's claws are more then capable of slicing through the Androids. Maybe, but Wolverine would have to catch her first, and Android 18 is way too fast for that. But the point is moot if Jean can go Phoenix. |

Also, the X-Men can still win this, as Storm, Professor X, Rogue, and Jean, each carry the potential, depending on how strong they are, in comparison to their comics counterparts, of taking the lead over 18 here. |

In addition there is nothing that I know of Android 18 that would prevent Wolverine's claws from slicing through her like butter. Also Rogue can touch 18 who is cocky enough to let her get close and drain a little power to use against 18. Then of course there is Gambit who people forget about who can deal heavy damage. Keep in mind 18 is cocky and arrogant. She won't go all out at first and that will also be her downfall.
