Thor
Here are the fight parameters…
They have their standard gear they are seen using most often.
Combatants are in character. This means their usual set of morals apply.
This is a random encounter (no prep for either side). Both sides have no immediate knowledge of their opponents.
The fight takes place in an Official DBZ Tournament Arena. The combatants start on opposite ends.
Death, Incapacitate, or Ring Out are the ONLY ways to win.

18 is seriously fucked here.
She doesn't have the destructive output to actually harm Thor, though she can hurt her.
Meanwhile Thor is not only capable of ripping through her physically, she also has a bunch of other powers which ranges from either outright take her down, seriously injure her or merely annoying her.
However from what I recall, the new Thor has shown a greater propensity for using the various powers she has at her disposal rather than just hit her enemies with her hammer, which could make this battle take longer than it needs to.

Oh yea Jane is a smart Thor and already has begun to use Thor's other abilities. She is not the original who never in recent years seems to almost never use Thor's other abilities on earth and rather fights like a warrior mostly. Jane does not fuck around either if you read issues of her in Thor and her Avengers team book. Jane Thor wins

Android 18's not doing so well in this CotM, it seems. She's just testing the waters. She probably could win this fight if she had some advantages or prior knowledge, but that unfortunately isn't the case. But I'll play devil's advocate and say that at least 18 has combat speed advantage. |

She probably could win this fight if she had some advantages or prior knowledgeIt would depend on what kind of advantage she would get, if she got the infinity gauntlet, or Thor was restricted to being in her Jane Foster persona, then she'd win. It doesn't matter what kind of prior knowledge she has, she doesn't have the capability to actually put down Thor at her regular level. But I'll play devil's advocate and say that at least 18 has combat speed advantage. Only to a point, she has faster short range movement, and to a degree faster physical attacks. Thor however is able to attack at FTL speeds with Mjolnir, both ranged by throwing it, and as a melee attack by using it to bullrush 18, which is faster than what 18 can perform. On top of that, she has various other abilities, like her ability to manipulate wind, which to some extent can negate 18's speed.

Fairly interesting match-up, but I don't know if any DBZ character is capable of taking down someone with the abilities of Thor and the willingness and savvy to use them.

To be honest, I'm generally not a Thor reader, so the things I know about her I found out through online sources lol. But even if I thought the fight would be close, I still think 18 would lose. |
