Here's something that is quite rare on this site: James Bond themed rumbles! This isn't really in celebration of any kind of milestone or anything like that, but this is a tournament starring Bond's supporting cast and enemies. Official film versions of characters only.
Oddjob (Goldfinger, 1964 film)
Bio: One of Goldfinger's chief henchmen, Oddjob was famous for his razor bladed bowler hat that could slice through stone like a knife through hot butter. While Oddjob was skilled at doing Auric Goldfinger's dirty work, he was also willing to unquestioningly perform more menial tasks for his master, such as act as his chauffeur and golf caddy. Oddjob fought against James Bond, and also somehow killed Jill Masterson by covering her body in gold paint.
Powers, Abilities and Personality: Oddjob was stoic and loyal to his employer, as well as merciless to those Goldfinger wanted dead. Oddjob was a master at using his trademark unusual weapon, his razor hat, and used it with frightening accuracy. As is the case with most villainous henchmen characters in the James Bond series, Oddjob was a tank of a man capable of withstanding all sorts of physical attacks. He withstood getting lumps of solid gold and wood thrown at him while barely flinching. He was strong enough to toss grown men around like pieces of paper.
vs.
Gareth Mallory (Skyfall, 2012 film)
Bio: While he was captured by the IRA, lieutenant colonel Gareth Mallory refused to give away any confidential information to the enemy even though he spent months incarcerated by them. Mallory continued service for his country by becoming Chairman of the Information and Security Committee. He was distrustful of James Bond when Bond returned to service in MI6 after having faked his own death for a short retirement. He was present at the public inquiry where M defended her beliefs to the British Member of Parliament, Clair Dowar, and shot at Raoul Silva when the Hispanic cyber-terrorist started shooting people in the building. Mallory received an arm injury that he recovered from, and was eventually appointed as M's replacement after her death.
Powers, Abilities and Personality: An experienced soldier, Mallory was slightly embittered by his experience in the unlawful custody of the IRA. While he was a stickler for protocol and making sure his agents abided by it, Mallory was willing to let his agents do the occasional unorthodox thing for the greater good. However, he was very stern to those who did very endangering, unauthorised actions like Bond did at the Day of the Dead festival. Mallory was a tenacious, courageous fighter who was more than willing to join a fight to save innocent lives. On top of that, Mallory was a smart fighter, which was seen when he removed the magazine from C's pistol before he could fire it at him.
