Previously: It started with an attempt on the life of former President David Palmer while trying to recruit LeRoy Greene. Palmer was
injured and unable to lead, so another former president- James Marshal took over.
The attempt on David Palmer’s life led to a war on ninja.
The Hand, specifically, had made themselves enemies of freedom and liberty and James Marshal was determined to see them
destroyed.
But to war with the ninja was different even from fighting terrorists. Luckily- this situation- they could fight fire with fire.
The United States had a number a ninja commandos in their armed forces as well ninja clans whose members had immigrated to
America.
When he made the call, the ally clans answered enthusiastically.
Getting everyone organized was easier than Marshal thought. The ninja understood what needed to be done, and his military people
were willing to adapt to their allies’ methods.
The big plan was to kill the head of the clan. Since they didn’t know who that was, they could only strike at targets that they knew.
So far, Marshal’s forces had captured a few Hand ninja. Amon was the highest ranking but he wasn’t forthcoming with information
yet.
For now they had to hit what was available. It was common knowledge for anyone who knew of The Hand that the clan had a strong
presence in Gamora and Madripoor. Two cesspools for humans of the lowest class. Activities such as prostitution and child slavery
were normal, accepted incidents. Worse things go on there.
Madripoor was where they had lost Del Spooner and Matt Parkman. The ninja who had killed them were probably still there.
That theory drew a lot of volunteers but only a few were needed.
Joe Musashi- the Shinobi- was the ninja liaison of the mission. He had worked with the American government before when he took
down the Neo-Zed, a tech happy pseudo-ninja society that had kidnapped his girlfriend.
Shinobi had never bothered with The Hand. They seemed to have enough enemies as far as he could tell. Musashi preferred to keep
to himself anyway. But when the United States called for his brand of help, Shinobi felt compelled to offer his.
The group that the American’s had linked him with were competent, and courteous to him. When things got hot and heavy though,
their lack of experience with this kind of enemy showed terribly.
In their defense, it seemed like The Hand was ready for them. All of his team was killed leaving Shinobi to his usual solo strategies.
He was able to escape the initial ambush and secure himself in a maze of containers at the dock. He couldn’t be sure of the count,
but there were about eight ninja on his tail.
There appeared to be one who stood out. Besides the obvious of being dressed differently, he continually, ordered the others about.
Keeping with the strategy that Marshal and his military advisor Fury had laid out, this Lieutenant was the one to capture.
Fight Parameters:
There are eight Hand ninja hunting Shinobi throughout the dock.
The Lieutenant makes nine but he won’t engage unless he needs to.
To win, Shinobi must dispose of all eight ninja and capture The Lieutenant.
