I hate Republicans and Conservatives, the Canadian Republican... idk but to me it just seems like they're dragging their heels on progress, which I can see as a sorta good point of view, however that's the only good thing about them... Mostly because they're either some combination of Rich and Entitled, Bigoted and Unintelligent, Or Psychotic and Manipulative.
Mind you, the other side isn't too much better, just different... To me the best form of government would be a Benevolent Monarchy or Dictatorship. Someone who has all the power and morals to do everything that's necessary for everyone in the country. The only problem with that is that, well, Good Luck finding someone who wouldn't corrupt and use that power in some perverted self interest. And then even if you find someone like that, what happens after they die... Chances are eventually along the line, the kids will probably end up self important overly entitles brats, who scrub Benevolent from the title, and then you have just a Dictatorship, or Monarchy. And we all know the troubles with them.
Frankly, the only Real system of government that would work and work well, forEVER, would be a Robotocracy... Once we develop an AI that's smarter then us, give it the power over our governmental decisions. Overnight you'd probably see an end to hunger and poverty, within months or years an end to deadly diseases. The only trouble I could see happening would be with the Republicans. They want power over people, they usually have either the money to do that, or a large mob of people behind them to bull their way into some kind of power. Their usual tactics are Fear though, but when you take away all the reasons for fear, what do you have left with. A robotocracy would rob them of their power, and they fear that. Because Damnation to the people, Damnation to morality, Damnation to anything we'd consider good, if it endangers their privilege and power.

I want VCM to come to this thread. He clearly thinks Socialism=Communism. I'm interested as to why so many hold that misconception. He probably doesn't know that there are plenty of socialist aspects of the US, even though it is primarily free-market/capitalist.

If the More moderate, more intelligent republicans take offense to what I said there, then Stand the Fuck up and make your voice heard, because That's what sensible people are thinking about your party. As far as I'm concerned, not all Republicans are like this, just the ones that get on Radio, the News, and into Office. Who puts them there though.

The Republican party is viewed, in the US at least, as somewhat of a backwards party. I do agree that the vocal ones (Rush Limbaugh, Mitt Romney, John Boehner, ect,) fit your description.

Those questions are worded to be very anti-conservative.
