Previously:
After being captured by Hawkman, Andros- the Red Space Ranger- was thrown into a gladiatorial battle with the Batfaced robeast in which the Triceratons had purchased from the Drules.
They had been on the trail for a while.
Commander Stargazer had ordered the Silverhawks to track down and stop the Drule’s selling of weapons of mass destruction. That was what their Robeasts were, especially when grown to giant size.
A sale had been made to the Triceritons but the package had already been delivered. The team was fortunate enough to still be able to determine its destination. An undocumented asteroid base.

In the depths of space, trillions of asteroids floated around in all directions like lost animals. A surprising number of them had potential for various purposes. Some made for excellent mining specimens. Sites for weapons and technology testing. Prisons. And of course military bases.
The Triceratons claimed one insignificant rock to house themselves on for this allied undertaking. To the soldiers assigned to the base, it was an insult that and alien was in command.
Apparently, the leadership didn’t feel their fledging alliance didn’t need his ranking Triceraton involved. They volunteered their rank and file to do grunt work. Because whatever plan was forming hadn’t been executed, the Triceraton soldiers had hardly anything to do. They sort of had to create their own excitement.
A group of them watched the fight they had set up with the vigor of a sporting event.
“He’s going to last longer than we thought.” One of them said.
“Doesn’t matter.” Said another. “He goes down eventually. Nobody set a time limit.”
“I’m still going with vaporized.” A third chimed in with his opinion of how it would end.
“You don’t know anything about Power Rangers.” The first one argued. “They don’t get vaporized. Have to make them power down before you can really kill them.”
“Whatever. He’s not going to survive a robeast.”
“What are you all doing?” a new voice bellowed.
They all turned to see Kraang standing at the entrance.
“We’re just disposing of this Power Ranger that the Thanagarian brought in.
“That’s not how you dispose of interlopers.” Kraang snarled. “You kill them. On site.”
“We figured we’d give the robeast a test run.” The Triceraton was obviously making it up as he was saying it. “Make sure the Drules didn’t give us a defective specimen.”
Kraang gazed at the screen. It was a Red Power Ranger. Reports indicated that color to be the stronger ones. He didn’t seem to be fairing very well against the robeast, but that was besides the point. He now knew for sure that the Triceatons couldn’t be relied upon to be professional. Thankfully, he had General Tragg and his stone warriors.
There were more important things for Kraang to do than chastise the dinomen.
Tragg could report them to the Triceaton high command and request better soldiers.
Turning to make his leave Kraang simply said, “Be sure he dies.”

This was the kind of monster that he, along with his fellow Power Rangers would fight using the Astro and Delta Megazords.
Andros had to fight this right.
The Batfaced robeast wasn’t strategic. It simply attacked and attacked. There was no doubt that it would overwhelm any target with its sites. But Andros guessed that these things were typically unleashed with encoded instructions. This one wasn’t.
That was his route to victory.
As best he could he dodged and evaded. He ran. If he could have, he would have hidden too.
The robeast was persistent, but seemed confused by the lack of counterattack. Even when there were openings, Andros didn’t take a shot.
In the control room, the Triceratons reacted like sports fans hearing a bad call from the referee. They complained that thing was defective, treating moving targets like inanimate objects. I never adapted or adjusted to varying scenarios. They agreed to shut the robeast down and go in and kill the Power Ranger themselves.
To Andro’s relief, the robeast suddenly stopped attacking him. He was cautious, not sure if the weapon was finally adapting to his strategy. After a minute, nothing else happened. Andros started to look around for a way out.
A door on the other side of the room opened and Andros could see a group of Triceraton soldiers just beyond. Before they entered, a blaring alarm sounded.
He overheard a soldier reporting that a ship was attacking the base. Andros assumed it was another Power Ranger team, maybe Leo’s Galaxy Rangers or the SPD team. Whoever it was, this was an opportunity to escape.

Outside, the Miraj flew over.
Bluegrass gave a loud yehaw and launched the rest of the Silverhawks from their bays within the ship.
The Triceratons were only half able to mount a defense, but it was enough to engage the enemy before they could touch ground. They had heard about these Silver Hawks, but this would be the first time meeting them in battle. Letting the space police take this base would be an insult to Triceraton resolve. It would also lessen their value in the alliance. For the glory of Triceraton’s everywhere, the Silver Hawks would die.
Fight Parameters
The Silverhawks are out to capture the base and interrogate the Triceratons present. They can use lethal force if necessary but, of course, they’re good guys and will try to take everyone alive.
The team includes Quicksilver, Steelheart, Steelwill, Copper Kidd and Bluegrass piloting the Miraj. All of them have their attack birds.
There are fifteen Triceratons.
Four of them have mounted those flying handlebar things that allow them to fight in space (kind of like that thing that DC comics Orion flies around on) to engage the Siver Hawks before they can reach the asteroid surface. The rest are inside, preparing for enemy infiltration.
