Previously:Uncle sent Jackie to recruit Master Kwai Chaing Caine but the master mistook him for an agent of evil. Sportsmaster had
been sent to kill Master Caine and succeeded because of Jackie’s distraction.
Uncle nearly sank into depression. He simply murmured Master Kwai Chang Caine’s name over and over.
Based on his reaction to the master’s death, they had suffered a devastating blow.
The permeating question was what do they do now?
A woman came into Uncle’s antic store. Her presence broke Uncle out of his depressive stupor.
“Chizuru!” he exclaimed.
“Chi Wizard.” The woman said calmly. Are you ready to embark on the mission?”
“We failed.” Uncle said, his head turned downward.
Chizuru narrowed her eyes. Her gaze went to Jackie who promptly explained his uncle’s statement.
“Master Kwai Chang Caine was killed.”
“I see.” She too sombered. But she jarred herself right back up. “We will have to make due without him.”
Uncle again recovered from his sadness. “You have never met my nephew, Jackie Chan.”
Jackie waved awkwardly under the scrutiny of her stare.
“We should be going.” Chizuru finally said. “The evil will not wait for us to stop it.”

A few others had already arrived at their destination.
Uncle warmly greeted most of the other men, immediately afterwards introducing them to his nephew.
Edge Master, Jackie had heard of. Evidently, Uncle had trained with him at one point in his life. The man was legendary in the
martial arts world even among other masters.
Sogestu was younger than the others. He had a seriousness to him, Jackie wasn’t sure if it was the gravity of the situation or his
very nature.
One man stood apart, clearly an outsider. He was Asian, with all white hair including his mammoth beard. He was stout and his
demeanor was very inviting. Just looking at him made Jackie feel better.
Chizuru introduced him. “This is General Iroh, of the Fire Nation. He has volunteered his experience to lead this mission.”
Smiling warmly the general addressed his comrades.
“A pleasure to meet you all. I have never been to America before. I hope that once we defeat the evil, I can come back here for a
more enjoyable visit.”
“What exactly is our mission?” Jackie asked.
“To save the world.” Iroh said.
They were underway within the hour. Their undisclosed financial backer donated a ship with weapons and a helicopter for their
travel needs.
On a whim, Jackie tried calling his cousin Kevin Chan. Kevin’s phone went to voice mail but Jackie left him a message informing him
of what he and Uncle were now doing.
At sea, Iroh called the others in for a briefing.
“Based on what Chi Wizard Chan is describing, it seems that Earth is being slowly invaded by demonic forces. Threats are springing
up all over. Fire Nation intelligence says that many threats are being challenged by various organizations. But there is one that
hasn’t been challenged. This is the one that we will defeat. Asmodel.”
Uncle took over at this point.
“Thousands of years ago, a demon lord named Asmodel had taken dominion over a small portion of developing civilization. As more
demons stated to gain interest in our world, Asmodel pulled out. Sorcerers of old assume it is because of he had plenty of other
worlds and was not interested in competing for this one.
“Even so, he left a bit of his power behind so that should Earth gain his interest again, he would already have a foothold.
“Asmodel held a covenant with individual people. Those individuals held onto the power that Asmodel left behind. Collectively this
power came to be called the Mace or Tanis. It is usually split between seven people who were free to do what they wished with the
power. Some created kingdoms and empires. Some simply hid it away- fearing its source.
“Today, no one knows where all seven holders of the Mace are. But we know of a few.
Iroh took back over.
“The holder of the Mace died but the Mace itself is hidden. Your archeological skills will be needed to find it.”

Only a few hours of work and Jackie had a location. The group traveled there will all speed and began searching the area.
Unknown to the heroes, Kan-Ra was very much alive. He was revived and closer to the side of undead but the ancient sorcerer was
active in the modern world.
He was here to reclaim his Mace. Sure that others would be after his Mace too, he hired mercenaries to handle such thieves. He was
pleased to be right when the heroes arrived several minutes at his old homeland. That meant that he hadn’t wasted a bit of his
longstanding wealth on the hired help.
Most of the help was pinned down, but Iroh and Chi Wizard Chan were able to sneak away and seize the Mace.
They thought that the gunmen were the extent of the opposition but when they caught up to Kan-Ra, they realized just how critical
it was to get the Mace.
All of his hired thugs were busy outside, Kan-Ra decided to kill these two himself.
Iroh enganged the mummified man while Uncle continued to look for the Mace.
Fight Parameters:
Death duel.
Either one will be satisfied with defeating the other but killing is fine if they don’t yield. (I guess Kan-Ra would steal his soul just of
good measure though)
