New Khazan: In the wake of the destruction of Khazan, the gods of that world banned together to build a new world and save the Characters. The world of New Khazan is young, and ever growing. It is broken up into separate districts, which are heavily guarded. Transport is allowed between the districts for characters who inhabit multiple forms of media, however it is strictly regulated. One character managed to set himself up as a god in this new world, and a small group of characters have regained their memories from the old world. They now battle the god's forces to regroup and fix the world.
Sci-Fi District: The technological center of New Khazan; this coalition of world is set perpetually in the near to distance future. While these worlds all have access to the same levels of tec, the citizens of each world are divided by how advanced their universe of origin is. Adam Park, the second black ranger, has thus far fought his way off his world in order to try and reconcile his memories of a past life and discover the dark secrets of New Khazan.
Adam Park: A life time ago, the black ranger was a member of a team of Universal Warriors who saved the Multiverse from an evil Cult. In this life, he remembers vague flashes. His journey so far has caused him to fight against fellow rangers, but he was able to find allies in the Space Rangers. Together, they've taken the Astro Megaship and are attempting to escape the Sci-Fi district so Adam can unite with his fellow Universal Warriors.
The god sat on his thrown. In a fit or rage he had broken the Crystal ball monitoring Vin Venture. As the shards lay at his feet he wondered how Itachi had fared against the Mistborn, the Avatar, and the Dragon. But for now, he had other concerns. He waved another Crystal Ball down and looked on as Adam and the Space Rangers flew through the Sci-Fi District. "Manipulating the citizens doesn't seem to be enough here," The god said, "I think this calls for another of my generals... a special general."
"Looks like we're in the clear," TJ said, from his position on the ship deck.
"Keep an eye out," Andros said, "With the fight they put up to keep us there I can't imagine them giving up like that."
"We've been flying for a while," Adam said, "If they were after us, we'd know by now."
"They've probably contacted the other planets," Cassie said, "They'll have police or military waiting for us when we land."
Adam smirked, "Good thing we're not going to any of the planets."
"Then where?" Carlos asked.
"We're getting out of here," Adam said.
"Out of here?" Cassie asked.
Ashley added, "We're about as 'out' as we can be."
Adam shook his head, "No, we're leaving the district. I have some old friends I need to track down."
Just then, the ranger's conversation was interrupted as the on board A.I, DECA, chimed in, "Emergency, my systems seem to be under attack."
The rangers looked around. "Looks like they found us," T.J said.
"DECA, shut down all systems except for life support," Andros said, "That should lock them out."
The once feminine voice of the Astromegaship changed to a deep masculine voice, "I'm sorry Andros, I can't do that."
"DECA?" T.J. Asked.
"No, T.J., DECA was not suited for this task so I took over. I am HAL 9000."
Adam gripped his morpher, "What task?"
"Killing you." HAL said simply.
"Killing us?" Cassie asked.
"Yes," HAL said, "I'm sorry. I understand that this will serve as an inconvenience for you."
Carlos looked to Adam, "Isn't that a little extreme for the police department?"
"Negative Carlos," HAL said, "This is a much bigger than the Khazan police force. My master has plans for this multiverse, and you Power Rangers will only serve to slow his plans if you're allowed to continue."
"You just have to stop us then," Adam said.
"Correct. The only way to assure a 100% success in stopping you is to kill you."
"But you have completely control of our ship," replied Adam, "We're stranded, we're helpless. You've already stopped us."
The room went silent. Tension grew as HAL took time to process the information. "Correct," HAL said, "Historic records confirm that the Power Rangers will keep fighting so long as they draw breath. The simplest way to eliminate the Power Ranger threat is to kill the Power Rangers."
"You've already eliminated us," Adam proposes, "The simplest thing to do now, is nothing. You won this battle. If we make a move against you, then a new battle starts with different stakes; but unless that happens, you've already defeated us."
"Alright Adam," HAL said, "You are correct. Unless you make a move against me, I will allow you to live as my prisoners. Good-bye Rangers."
Hal went silent, but the computer was still watching and listening to the rangers. They looked around at one and other, knowing they had to act. They made a silent agreement that they either needed to shut down the A.I. or escape the ship, but they also knew they had to be careful.
Power Rangers: The 5 original Space Rangers and Adam Park, they're trapped on the astromegaship with HAL 900 controlling it's systems. They need to either deactivate the ship's A.I. or escape the ship.
HAL 9000: Under the control of the mysterious Dark God, HAL was given orders to kill the Power Rangers. After Adam proved to the computer that trapping them was enough HAL agreed to not kill them, unless they take any action to escape or otherwise defeat HAL.
