Being the Character of the Month isn't easy.
People start to envy you... maybe to the point of knocking you down a peg and taking that spot for themselves.
Mara Jade, The Emperor's Hand, has become a target. Can she survive to fight another day?
TARGET: Mara Jade Skywalker
HUNTERS:
Lobo (New 52)
Durge
Ultimate Venom (Eddie Brock)
Ultimate Wolverine
Here are the fight parameters…
First to catch and kill Mara Jade wins.
Hunters can team up but there can only be one winner.
Mara Jade knows she is being hunted.
They each have their standard gear they are seen using most often.
Combatants are in character. This means their usual set of morals apply.
The hunt takes place in the Savage Land.

Christ alive, what did they do to Lobo? 0_O Just kidding, he actually looks quite cool, just... Not all that like Lobo.  I think that Durge would be more than capable of defeating Mara Jade. He really gave Kenobi a hell of a lot of trouble. I vote Durge. |

I have to look up this Durge to see how would he be more successful then Lobo, Ultimate Venom, or Ultimate Wolverine. Mara can definitely beat Venom because that lightsaber would slice through the symbote like butter. However there are still other things to consider. I will explain more later on who I think wins when I have more time.

He really gave Kenobi a hell of a lot of trouble. I vote Durge. Idk, I like the change to Lobo actually. New design is cool and less... 90's. This solo series is shit though. As for the fight, I don't think Durge can get past Wolverine or Lobo and also capture Mara Jade. Durge will give Venom a run for his money though. |

Lobo has the high tech firepower and explosives more then likely to put down Ultimate Venom at least long enough for him to get to Mara. Ultimate Wolverine vs Lobo could go either way. Ultimate Wolverine uses his experience and skills in a fight sometimes from the start more then 616 Wolverine at times. I am undecided here.

Durge is weird because he's actually more dangerous with his armour off. With armour on, he has a ludicrous amount of deadly weapons such as flame throwers and lightsaber-deflecting shields on his arms. He also has a badass speeder bike and a lance. If one of the other hunter were to try and face Durge before fighting Mara Jade and managed to break his armour, he'd reveal his true form as a huge, amorphous monster that could just smash any of the others into the dirt in a few seconds. Since Durge possesses a strange, non-centralised nervous system, complete obliteration is the only sure fire way of stopping him. Yeah, even getting exploded from the inside out didn't kill Durge. He's that durable.

While Durge may have a preference for killing Mandalorians, he also hunts Jedi as a part of his job, so yeah, he would have this in the bag, bros.

I guess the consensus here is that Durge wins it. And I could agree that he could take out Mara Jade, but I'm not sure if he's capable of taking on the rest of the hunters all at once. Wolverine alone would give him trouble. Not to mention Venom's symbiote possibly effecting Durge's body in some unforeseen way. So unless the hunters kill each other off first, Durge's victory is less likely.

These multi angled fights area always tricky because there's some many factors and so many ways it could play out. I love 'em though cause they really make you think. Even better when there's one or two you don't know mixed in with ones you do so you can learn about more people in the discussion.

Like in the right situation, Mara could win this. Same goes for any of the other combatants. |

I am sorry but Lobo has the most experience fighting and hunting beings more powerful or deadly then Mara. Lobo is also the smartest here and has the weapons as well as equipment to back it up.

More experienced than Mara yeah, but Wolverine and Durge, not so much. Durge has lived for like thousands of years and would have done more than Lobo. |
