Shin Getter Robo (Robot)

Shin Getter Robo was designed to maximize the power of Getter Rays.

The manga presents Shin Getter Robo as a holder of immense Getter Ray energy where being in space would allow it to collect a full charge of Getter Ray energy after three years.

Alternatively, it received a high amount over the years it was dormant through the Getter Dragon's energy amplifier furnace below the Saotome Institute and the great power it demonstrated afterward was only half of the power it received.

Shin Getter also seems to be constantly evolving as it slightly changed its appearance and equipment after its years of dormancy.

The Shin Getter during its test flight could even approach the speed of light at full speed.

However unlike other Getter robot, the immense power of the Getter Rays the Shin Getter can store is significantly different as beings that are defeated by the Shin Getter's attacks seem to be absorbed directly into the Getter Rays.

Furthermore, the energy output is much greater than other Getter robots with an accident after stopping an attack on the Saotome Institute wiped out the lab's staff in a meltdown similar to the Chernobyl disaster.

It is difficult just to pilot the Shin Getter without being losing sanity as only a few strong willed individuals managed to endure the process.
