i feel the soul crushing weight of responsibility pushing into my lower stomache. the house i lived in for a quarter century is no longer my home. i'm scared of paying bills. are me meager means enough to sustain myself, my girlfriend, and her little black dog. i like us as a unit, the three of us belong together and that is why I don't want to let them down. working two jobs, coexisting with another when we live during two completely different parts of the day. have only been out of my childhood home two days and already all I talk about is how often my dog has pooped that day. there are boxes upon boxes of every little thing i've acquired in my life, it was a bitch to move them up the staircase. i love these things that i have sentimental bonds with. the eraser that my best friend in high school called our child, the ceramic anteater I made in class. my zoobooks. I never want to carry them again.

Yeah I get tired myself sometimes of paying rent, paying out of pocket for my Bachelor's Degree (Financial Aid does not cover all of my tuiton. Plus I already have my Associate Degree), A fucked up car that won't be driven until my Mechanic comes back from visiting his country, and more. Me and a friend when out for drinks Friday after work. Felt good.
