I just had a quick play through of Akinator, and he was utterly useless this time. I played as Bella Caroumella from Great: The Show, SaltyBet's mascot character, and Danger from the X-Men comics. None of them appear to be in the database, strangely enough. Not surprised as Saltybet is still pretty obscure. It's fucking great though. |

I think that the Super Best Friends crew's promotion has given it some more cred recently. A few of my friends seem to like it. Speaking of which, the other day something crazy happened on SaltyBet. I was watching this match between a pink Rock Howard and a no-name Kaiju on the SHIELD Helicarrier stage. It was pretty boring for the most part, but then Rock got down on all fours, screamed, and paused time. He then appeared to charge some kind of ridiculous super move which made the screen shake up and down so much that it literally BROKE SaltyBet. A "Technical difficulties" sign appeared and everything, you can't make this shit up. XD |

Was the only person in class to do my Chaucer recitation without using the book. Extra credit. In other news, I've written 29 pages in total this week for college. Writing the final draft on my seminar paper right now. Tomorrow, I start on my letter of intent for graduate school. Then, all weekend studying Canterbury Tales, To the Lighthouse and Waiting for Godot for finals, plus another 10 pages for co-operative education class. In short, I WANT TO FUCKING SCREAMThree months later, and now I have a BA in English and headed for the grad program. |

Guys, what would you say if I said I was thinking about making some kind of general-knowledge-quiz-thing? You'd probably say, "PPP, get a thesaurus," but in all seriousness, I've been thinking about this for a while now (if about 10 minutes constitutes for a while). I've been thinking about making different quiz threads based on themes in the off-topic board, but I wanted to ask you guys if it was worth doing beforehand.
The sort of themes would include different fictions, history, sports, that sort of thing.

Yep, there were a few (and maybe later I'll feel up to looking up their links on the old EF ), but I think all of them are dead or dying at this point. MagneticFox seems to be the only place at least some former EF'ers still come to on at least a semi-regular basis. |
