LOG, the Lord of Games, is a mysterious reality warping entity that first appeared in the Xbox 360 game, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. His powers are seemingly limitless. He can appear anywhere, and do anything. His motives and origins are a complete mystery. He also has a television screen that constantly plays Pong for a head. Despite all this great power, there is one realm he dares not enter. It is unknown whether it is out of personal feelings of disgust for the realm's very existence, or if its utterly chaotic and nonsensical nature doesn't allow for him to enter it at all.
That realm is known as 'BIG RIGS: OVER THE ROAD RACING'.
This universe has laws of physics incomprehensible to mere mortals, and even the LOG himself does not fully understand it. Truck drivers are able to drive their trucks over near-90 degree angled cliff faces without any slowdown. Trucks are able to accelerate at seemingly infinite speeds, backwards specifically. Most disturbingly of all is the fact that this universe seems to lack limits. Trucks are able to traverse outside of the racetrack maps and can enter an endless, empty landscape. Some drivers have gone so far away form the map that they cannot return.

The LOG has set out to take immediate action and recover the mysterious lost truckers. These video game characters have broken the rules, defied physics, and gone beyond their game's universes. The LOG cannot allow that, and wishes to punish them personally for their misdeeds. But he will not enter this seriously messed up universe. He will need people to catch this wrong 'un and bring them to video game justice. The best drivers the multiverse has to offer will be put to the ultimate test. So he decided to summon them to a nice big board room, with him at the head of the table.
Sitting at this table were some of the most iconic drivers ever... Max Rockatansky was muttering to himself, Franklin Clinton was playing with a handgun, James Bond was shuffling through gadgets in a brief case... They all had their own plans of how to capture the rogue trucker.
"It will not be easy, out there. It is a near infinite wasteland. You will almost certainly get lost at some point in your trek. To make things, you know, possible for you, I will use my infinite power to replenish your petrol when you need it. If any of you manage to find this being, you will be given a substantial reward of your choosing and will be sent to a paradise dimension to live in for the rest of your days. Any questions?" asked the Lord of Games to his rather uninterested crowd.
"Sure." said everyone in the board room in unison.
"Alright, then. Get going." said LOG, before teleporting everyone else in the room to the racetrack area of the map, Devil Passage 1. All of them woke up beside their beloved vehicles and were ready to race through the infinite plains. Bond was next to his Aston Martin. Luke Skywalker was next to his landspeeder. Max was next to the War Rig. Doctor Emmett Brown and Marty McFly were next to their DeLorean time machine. The Third Doctor was next to Bessie.
LOG appeared high in the sky. The Pong paddles, which are effectively his eyes, looked down upon the mortals below. He said, "I don't wish to stay here anymore than I have to, but I have to say this..."
All of the drivers got into their vehicles. Their started their engines, and tonnes of probably harmful stuff came billowing out of the exhaust pipes. But the 'Big Rigs universe' doesn't have an atmosphere, so it's all fine.
"Welcome to the RACE TO THE OVER-ROAD!"
