This month’s contest will be a little bit different. Since we now have a pretty big library of characters, but very few matches, this will be a contest for who can create the best INC Gauntlet match.
Pick some characters, write a little story about how they come into conflict, and let us vote on who wins. All submissions must start before April 30th. I thought about extending the deadline, but then you’d have to extend next month for being late as well, ad infinitum. Plus matches are a bit shorter then characters, so it’s less of a strain.
• There’s no word count, but use your judgment for how long you want it to be.
• There’s no a theme exactly because when using pre-existing characters any theme I give would fit some character backgrounds more then others.
• That said, matches that tie back into the larger Inc. universe, or further develop characters win brownie points.
• You don’t have to use your own characters. Make a match with someone else’s characters if you like.
• You can write brand new characters just for the match. Just so long as it’s in by the 30th.
• Go nuts.
