"You got that right wolf guy, so go ahead and focus, name's Karen Fox by the way" she huffs out loud, struggling with the bonds, whoever this girl was she was held in extra tight.

She was still bound to the gurney, and the fire was creeping closer. Abbey sighed. She allowed the werewolf and the young girl to continue their attempts without interruption.
"Do keep at it, persistence is a virtue dear."
She instead turned her gaze towards the bodies on the floor and examined them while her would be saviors continued working the straps.
OOC: Abbey uses INT to inspect the bodies, faces, & wounds of the men on the floor to try to inductively reason facts about them. Clothes, age, location of the bodies, where the shots came from. Sherlock Holmesy stuff, essentially a search check.

Elexa looks for safe way to put out fire (6 - Success/ Finds a CO2 Extinguisher)
Karen attempts to free Abby w/ Michael (Success/ No role, I think a woman and a werewolf can figure out how to remove straps)
Pascal attempts to throw screws and set off the sprinklers (11 - Success/ Pascal knocks the shitake out of the sprinklers. It’s raining men…I mean water.)
Michael attempts to use strength to free Abbey (Success/ See above)
Abbey tries to detect what happened using Int (11 – Success/ Abbey determines that the guys on the floor are lab workers and it’s obvious that everyone in the gurneys were the rats. Looks as if there was a skirmish and someone shot the workers, destroyed the computers (Probably stole data) and probably locked everyone in the room)
So, Pascal has set off the sprinklers. The water does nothing to stop the fire. The fire on the counter has grown quite large. It is hot. In fact, the water mixing with the chemicals causes the fire to hasten to a drip unto the floor to a larger puddle. A few more drips and we’re going to have a large fire on the floor as well. Elexa is standing in that puddle.

"Just takes some teamwork" Karen huffs once Abbey was finally free , "Hope it was worth that extra effort. Come on now lets bounce, stay close to me wolfboy, were not a bad team" she calls out before taking a look towards their way out
(Ooc attempts to exit the room and scan for any other signs of danger.)

Pascal looked at the growing fire and rubbed his head. "First that's happened, what kind of laboratory uses normal water for it's extinguishers? Or maybe it's not the water." Pascal reached for his sides and grasped air. "And my babies are gone. They must miss me so much right now; daddies comin!"
"We need to get out of here now. Whoever put us here obviously wants to make our escape as hard as possible. Oh, and that fire probably isn't a good thing either" he turns to see a little girl and a gold wolf heading towards the exit "The hell? Did I take acid again?"
He bends down and picks up shards of glass and bullet shells and puts them in a makeshift bag made from a dead mans shirt "You two wait for me, If were gonna get out of this we'll need all the help we can get." "If they've taken my guns and helmet that probably means they took these other guy's stuff too; chances are they stored them in one spot."
(OOC: Pascal joins Michael and Karen.)

The straps finally snap and the woman is free. As Michael stands, he sees the flames growing as the water rains down. He realizes it’s time to go.
Michael huffs.
(OCC: tries to leave room.)

"Did I not just say not to do that?" Elexa said coldly.
She readied the extinguisher. Hopefully no one makes the problem worse before I start spraying this.
She steps out of the puddle, and begins squeezing the levers.
(OOC: Elexa, avoiding the chemical spill on the floor, attempts to put out the flames)

"I'd be careful if I were you." warned Pascal as he purposely kicked splashed water with each step "If the surfactants in the sprinklers didn't work who knows what might happen with that extinguisher. While you're at it find out what that message is saying." He turned his attention back to Karen and Michael "We should go now, before she blows a gasket."

"Really? You think splashing around in the chemicals is a good idea there?" Elexa tosses the extinguisher towards Pascal, and makes her way to where Michael and Karen are standing. "You're gonna need that."
(OOC: Scratch former OOC. Elexa is going to stand away from the fire, and with the two strong looking people trying to leave the room.)

Abbey slinks off the gurney gracefully.
"Thank you both, now then, time to make an exit, though I suspect that door will not cooperate without some convincing. Introductions will come later."
She headed for the window instead and peered out.
(OOC Edited: Abbey looks out the window.)

"Ow!" shouted Pascal as the extinguisher hit him "There aren't any chemicals over here lady! We shouldn't be fighting now......we can do that when we get out of here."

Karen attempts to exit the room and scan for danger (10 Successful perception check/ Doors locked and there’s a fire. The room on the other side of the door looks safe if a bit wrecked. See Deo's update for full perception check) Pascal joins Michael and Karen (Pascal joins Michael and Karen) Michael tries to leave the room (The doors locked) Elexa joins Michael and Karen (Everybody is just kinda hanging out with Michael and Karen at a locked door) Abby looks out the window (11 Successful perception check/ Abby notices that the same scene within the room looks to have happened outside of it. There are bullet riddled scientists on the floor. It is another laboratory type room, but larger and with more computers. All wrecked. Cabinets have been ransacked and things look to have been stolen. There are two hallways on either adjacent side of the room. The red emergency lights are still flashing, the alarm blaring and the monotone voice is still heard slightly more audibly on the intercom. It sounds like a countdown of some sort. So meanwhile, everybody is just kinda huddled against a locked door. Except Abby who is pressed against a window. Oh and the fire is on the other side of our room, but that fire on the floor just ignited. It's now about hip high and soon going to set the sheets on the gurney's on fire. The room is getting harder to breath in. You guys... Deo rolls good perception checks. That's two good ones.

Abbey scanned the next room. It was much the same minus the fire. Which, to be fair, was a big improvement. She then grabbed a free microscope with both hands, backed a step away from the window, and swung its heavy base into the glass to smash the window and open an escape from the room.
(OOC: Abbey uses her admittedly limited strength to do that thing I just said. If no microscopes would be available add your handy item of choice, wrench, screwdriver, flashlight, etc. I was working on the picture for this one.)
