This is a continuation on my Character's origin story here. However, you don't have to read it to get the gist of my character, just read this.
Chapter 4: Enter AEGIS </span></div>
Personality:
I ran into the CITADEL, showing my new arrival ID. Everyone here sure do care alot about IDs. Everywhere I go they ask for my ID, must be because I'm Russian. Hmm... I arrive at the office where I'm supposed to be interviewed.
*Knock* *Knock*
"Hmm, yes, who is it?" A voice asks from inside the room.
"I am here for appointment for recruits." I answered, reciting my English line. I've been practicing that sentence in particular, so as to be clear.
"Oh yes, do please come in." The voice rang out again, a thick British accent contradicting the sweet old lady voice.
I opened the door and walked in, closing the door behind me.
"Oh now young one, do take off that mask. You're inside, and in Reach, you have no need to hide your identity." The interviewer reassured.
"Oh. My apologies I had forgotten I had it on. I had wore mask for many years to hide face. " I tell her, explaining my situation.
"Really? Why did you do that? If I may ask?"
"I..I do not remember."
"Oh...well then, shall we begin our interview?"
"Yes." I nod, trying to recall all my English. Wait, that's what Stephanie was for.
We stared at each other in silence for a couple of seconds, my mind racing to come up with the English words I was supposed to be using in order to talk. All my mind could think of was rapid firing Russian sentences at the interviewer, and running away. Wait, nevermind. I just remembered Stephanie was supposed to arriving. We were supposed to meet up at the front door, but I had completely forgotten.
*Knock* *Knock*
The silence in the room was broken with the knocks at the door.
"I'm with a recruit." The interviewer responded.
"No, I'm Joseph's translator." The voice at the door shot out.
The interviewer looked at me, and I nodded to show that the person was speaking the truth.
"Well, come in."
"Well?" The interviewer asked, analyzing Stephanie and me.
Steph sat down, next to me and began and looked at my hand. A chill was sent down my spine as she entered my mind. He telepathy (Rank 1/ 5 points) was a great help. However it still bothered me to an extend.
"My name is Joseph Ivanov, I was born in Moscow Russia. Since I was young I was always interested in using my powers for the greater good." Steph spoke for me, that wasn't exactly what I was thinking, but she spoke what she thought was best, and she knew best.
She was good at doing that, reading my mind. Hell, in battle, she could read the mind of all our targets, finding their exact location, and their strategies. When we were close, she could make them go blind, or make them lose their hearing for a short while. She could inhibit their senses (Inhibit Senses, Rank 1 w/ Range/ 8 points)
"Oh? Really?" The interviewer smiled, "So tell me, Mr. Ivanov, what type of 'abilities' do you possess?"

Red-headed menace/Ally: Superior (4 points)
Stephanie walked into the room, closing the door. A small redheaded woman walked in, her strawberry red hair contradicting her black mini dress, at her sides she rested a glock 19 (Piercing Attack Rank 1 w/ Ranged 3 points). The redhead put on a smile for the interviewer, while giving me a hard stare. Although she claimed not to understand Russian, I knew she understood me perfectly, she was able to understand most of everything going on everywhere.Well, anyways, she was here, and we is going to translate for me. Stephanie stood for a quick second, and analyzed the interviewer.
Stephanie Mcarthur, my translator, partner, and, some may say, girlfriend. She was assigned to be my partner after the Russian Vanguard had recruited me in the care of Moscow's Meta-Human Meta-Hospital. No body knew where I had come from, not even myself, so she was sent to read my mind. To hack into my memory in order to find me a place to stay. Needless to say she failed, as my mind was, and still is, a disastrous place. My mind, as well as my body, were ravaged by my savage past. Stephanie's father, luckily, had high connections with the AEGIS' Russian base's Director, so I was scheduled a check up there, were the doctors told me my cells were completely out of whack and were causing a sort of super cancer that ate away. They said it was due to my body not adapting to the constant need to eject, reconstruct, and replace bones so often.

Sharp Bones/Superior Slashing Weapon: (8 points) + Standard Weapons Master (10 points)
"Well, I was born to a regular family I suppose. My father didn't have any really big powers, just the greater intelligence. My mother was a regular human. However I have the power to develop bones in my arm and push them out using them as weapons."
"Oh really, care to demonstrate? Feel free to tear up the office, it gets replaced every other day anyway." The interviewer said, with a small chuckle.
Adding to Stephanie's description, I extended my right arm, and shot out some bones, stopping them before they could be shot out. Razor sharp, I picked one up an ran it straight down through the interviewer's wooden desk with minimal effort. This ability had been very useful in my childhood, where I was able to fight other children, and steal food from stores. That part was not translated to the interviewer though.
"Wow, would you look at that. What else can those bones do? Are they hard to break?" The interviewer asked with curiosity, obviously ignoring the fact that I had sliced up her table.
"Yes. Very. Hard enough to stop bullet even." I tell her, my pride in my bones evident.
"..And what of that other hand?" The interviewer said, beckoning towards my hand. My robotic hand.

Hand Canon/Eldritch Energy Rank 1 w/ Ranged & Long Ranged: (14 points)
I look down at my robotic hand, shaking it around. For the life of me, I could not figure out how the hell I lost the greater part of my arm. I remember being in some sort of battle...If anything the only explanation I had was the dream I kept on having, but that dream was not real. At least everybody kept telling me that. Any attempt to find anyone related to Gang of Gods resulted in nothing.
"Hey stop thinking about that bad dream. I told you already the Doctors said it was due to cancer." Stephanie shot her voice in my head. Telling me what I already knew. It's not like she hadn't tried to look into my memories for me, it seemed that my memories have been altered or something due to the amnesia, and she won't be able to access them until I gain them back.
"Well, his arm was replace by a Robotic one after 'meta-cancer', as the AEGIS Doctors called it, removed most of his arm. It has a little battery inside that's solar powered. Once it's charged enough it's able to shoot out a beam of energy that's pretty strong." Stephanie told the Interviewer, stopping my train of thought.
"Ooh, that sounds interesting, how about a little demonstration?"
I extended my golden arm outwards, and pulled on a little lever that was attached to my forearm. A small beam of pure energy shot out, crashing against the wooden desk. It shot for about 10 seconds, and stopped. The desk was left with a hole where the energy had hit, and the wall behind the desk had a small crater in it.
"That's pretty good. Pretty good indeed, Mr. Ivanov. As it is, you are passing. Is there anything else you might want to share?" The interviewer asked, eyeing me and Stephanie.
"No. That is all. Thank you so much." I told her, smiling.
"It's thank you very much." Stephanie corrected me.
"Yes that." I said, attempting to correct myself. We all shook hands, and exited the building. I walked out, and Stephanie walked out with me.
I was fairly confident that I was going to get accepted, evident by the little bump in my stride. I did that often when I was happy, not really sure why.
"Hey, wait for me!" Stephanie shot out behind me. I guess she had been caught up talking to the interviewer. She cares too much about me.

Well, today we are going to celebrate. We got what we wanted, both me and Stephanie are on the path to being great AEGIS members.
"I'm so happy Joseph, I think we actually did it!" She announced, ecstatic.
"You are right. We is do it." I agreed shaking my hand. I mixed up my words on purpose, causing her to roll her eyes. I love it when she does that, it shows her childish side. Slipping my hand into hers we walked on into the sunset.
However...is this what I wanted? A quiet life, with the woman I loved? Is this my dream? I had something nagging me in the back of my head. Something someone once told me. Someone I regret meeting. I know he probably doesn't exist, and is just a personification of my inner most desires... but what if he actually existed?
"No matter what you do in life, Joseph, always follow your dreams through to the end. Dreams are more important than everything."
Alexi's non existing face popped into my mind again.
That was to the last thing he said to my face. I couldn't be sure that he even said that. I can't be sure of anything my mind said happened during my teenage years. I had one thing for sure, however.
That is my dream. To find Alexi, and to rediscover my past. That is my dream.
