Yeah I saw that... It's pointless to bring him back if Vegeta doesn't get to kill him this time and be the hero of this film. I'm sorry but the last one I didn't like at all. The only good part was Vegeta surpassing Goku finally in that battle. It will make no sense if Goku is the hero of the film and just kills him again.

Battle of Gods? Or a different one? I don't recall Vegeta surpassing Goku, in that, and wasn't aware of any other recent ones.. I just bought that, recently, and thought it was pretty darn good. Despite it being, from my least favorite saga, and missing my favorite character.  |

Despite it being, from my least favorite saga, and missing my favorite character. Remember how Vegeta got super pissed and beat the crap out of Billz for about 10 seconds? In those 10 seconds he was more powerful than Goku... Until Goku came back and got his new power boost. As for Frieza coming back... Why? Sure he'll probably get a huge power boost, but it seems kind of pointless. He's just so weak and nonthreatening compared any of the villains who came after. It just feels like he should show back up and everyone laugh at him until he dies of shame. |

Oh, yeah.. When Billz slapped Bulma. Lol. A temporary rage-induced power up, wasn't what I had in mind, when he said that. :/
Speaking of which, that was probably the only thing I didn't like; Bulma's new actress. Got used to it, as the movie went on, but still prefer Vollmer.
And yes, it does seem kind of silly. I'd rather have another new villain, like with the previous one.

I think the plot is solid, makes sense someone would try to bring Frieza back. Maybe they could involve his family or race. Toriyama has been in an 'revealing things' mood with DBZ as of late with the whole Bardock being the first SSJ and Goku's mom and the Android's real names. I love Frieza as a villain even if he turned out not to be the strongest. I'm soooooo hype!
And I'm sure Goku and Vegeta will have to defeat him together this time. I'm sure Frieza's been getting stronger in Hell or something.
Plus, I really like the redesigns of Goku and Vegeta's outfits. Can't wait to see what they really look like.

I should really quit being lazy, and click links.. Billz returns? And Toriyama is overseeing things, again? Sign me up! Although, the only thing that worries me a bit, is this: "that he(Toriyama) strictly scrutinized all the dialogue, and promised more action scenes."
Like I said, I liked the last movie, quite a bit. Sounds like he's giving in to the critics, with that statement. I did see the extended version, which was like, 20 minutes longer, than the theatrical release. Don't know if that makes a difference or not.
And what's all this, with Goku's mom and the Androids' names? Is this yet another OVA, that Funimation will never get the rights to, and dub for me? At least, it seems to be that way, for the Bardock and Son Goku and Friends ones.. Still haven't seen those, either, because of it. >.>

Lol. Toriyama tried to give me a birthday present, and I didn't even know about it: "Dragon Ball Minus, a short story featured in the collected volume of Jaco the Galactic Patrolman (April 4, 2014)."
