Team: Argus

The original Argus was an ancient, enigmatic network of thieves, spies and assassins that lent out their talents to those who could afford it. As the ages went by, Argus drifted into myth with its true past known only by a few figures in the criminal underworld. During the time of the two great world wars the combination of prohibition, increasing arms trade, the "Elixer Race" and lax business laws; bred the perfect conditions for thousands of crime organizations to rise. Mirroring the world, the countless crime organizations fought each other to near extinction in what was called the "Vice Wars". Eventually a few powerful syndicates came together under the name of the Argus (which by then had become a criminal brotherhood better known as the Argus Lodge) and quickly "influenced" a grand majority of other criminal organizations and many solo criminals to join their network. Within Argus are three smaller groups; The Argus Lodge (A.K.A the Chamber or the Council) which served as the governing council of the organization; the Argus Cartel (A.K.A The Cartel) which is the name by which the public calls Argus. The Argus Cartel refers to all of the families, syndicates, criminals etc that are within Argus; and The Vices, which are the enforcers of Argus that ensure the laws of Argus are kept and order is maintained.
