Another group for your consideration. This one is an incarnation of the Syndicate.
Argus: Argus was an ancient network of thieves, spies and assassins that lent out their talents to those who could afford it. As the age went by Argus drifted into myth with its true past known only by a few figures in the criminal underworld. During the time of the two great world wars the combination of prohibition, increasing arms trade, the "Elixer Race" and lax business laws; bred the perfect conditions for thousands of crime organizations to rise. Mirroring the world, the countless crime organizations fought each other to near extinction in what was called the "Vice Wars". Eventually a few powerful syndicates came together under the name of Argus (which by then had become a criminal brotherhood) and quickly "influenced" a grand majority of other criminal organizations and many solo criminals to join their network.

Here are the the basic histories for the first two teams. These are basically supposed to replace the Sentinels and the fallen. Tell me what you guys think. AEGIS: After the advent of superhumans and the beginning of the "Elixer Race"; the Allies decided that it wouldn't be long before the Axis not only gained vast numbers of superhumans but an army as well. So, in order to catch them off guard all the allies started to draft extraordinary humans into an organization dubbed AEGIS. While every country have their own groups called Vanguards, as a coalition they are known as AEGIS. After WW2, AEGIS was placed under control of the U.N functioning as the worlds superhuman defense force. The AEGIS headquaters is based in Reach City. Ouroboros: After AEGIS attacked one of Germany's secret subterranean bases on the day that would be known as Blutmond, the Axis decided to create their own superhuman organization. Unable to reproduce the Allies serum, the first batch of supersoldiers were abominations. After a myriad of failures the Axis managed to create their force called Ouroboros. Aegis and Ouroboros fought many times until the U.S.A attacked Japan. Eventually the Axis nations joined the U.N and a majority of Ouroboos' soldiers joined Aegis; but instead of disbanding Ouroboros was taken over by an enigmatic group of figures known as Chimera bent on taking over the world. Ouroboros' current base is on a hidden island known as Thule. They're detailed, but I'm not sure I'm onboard. For AEGIS: Having a group under the control of the UN isn't like having a justice league. At that point they're not vigilantes or heroes, they're soldiers. The UN's intentions are perhaps generally good, but that makes our group of heroes controllable by politics. I like the name though, an Aegis is a shield of some kind, so that suggests protection. Vanguard, could work as well. For Ouroboros the nazi affiliation is bothersome. And while Ouroboros is a cool word, I don't like picking names just because they sound cool, it has to be relevant to the group. Especially since there's another secret organization, Chimera, inside this secret organization.

Wow, I see their has been some development while I was busy. Good. Not too familiar with how the points work seeing as I was never on FPL but I do have a question regarding the power's list. If I wanted to make a Groot-like character, what powers would that be? Nature? I'm looking for more a wood-control tree man sort of thing.

Again, why are they named 'Argus', just cuz?

I originally had a plan where U.N does something that forces AEGIS (which by then had become a force in of itself) to split from them completely but I was thinking uf putting it in a fic or rp. As for Ouroboros; I chose that name because my orginial plan for Ouroboros to be an ever changing group that evolved during every new age (Like its change from Axis control to Chimera). As for Chimera, that was a random name I threw in.

I chose that name to symbolize the countless connections they would have in every aspect of the world.

Probably regen and rapid growth. Probably in sync with nature too.

All you would have to do is write the descriptions so that they tell the story (explains) of how and why the powers work.

Okay, I'll think his(Tree-Man's) origin up and post it somewhere to see if its okay. My only other question is that seeing as we can make characters, I'm assuming we can make places too. If I make say, a almost sentient haunted house, is it a character or still just a place? Probably a place I know but just saying whatever's on my mind lol

If you want you can write it into his description as an ally or seeing how its sentient it could e a character by itself. But no, you don't have to write a location for the house if you don't want to.

The two aren't really related but I see what you mean xD Yea, was thinking of doing an Haunted House RP in the style of Betrayal at House on the Hill but just with some of you guys' superpowered characters.

I once wrote a character called a "sack full of spiders", so it doesn't have to be a person per-se. As for the tree guy, I don't know much about Groot (sacrilege, I know). But in general a street level tree guy might look like this power wise. Tree-guyStrength: superior 2 (I'd assume he has some super strength/ able to lift a car for example) Body: Superior 2 (general level of endurance/toughness) Armor: standard 2 (bark-skin) Binding: superior 4 (He can create plants and vines to tangle up his enemies) Communication: standard 2 (Ability to talk to trees?) Bio-vampire: standard 2 (Ability to absorb strength from nature) total of 14 points.
