That's...kind of a legitimate question imo. Given the date this is very much a Post-Crisis story, so has Supes no-selled a nuke in the past? I know he's Superman and all, and in-universe it's probably a Cold War era nuke(whatever tonnage that is) but I kind of believe a nuke doing something to him unless feats prove otherwise.

Later on in Post Crisis a nuke is noting to him. I will say being this story came out around the period he was made less powerful then what we would come to know later a nuke could weakened him somewhat. Since that period he has had multiple changes in power levels though.
