Like most of the site, I propose un-apologetically taking the idea for the season draft from EF. Obviously we don't have Umpire or the great Serge here, but I think running a slightly more archaic version is possible.
This thread will just be for gauging interest, and maybe figuring out how to organize matches. Other things like character slots, competitions, and battlegrounds can come later.
So, anyone interested?

It would probably help bring some excitement to the site. I just got married and have newborn plus a bonus 10 year old so I won't participate as much as I'd like. (That's part of why Secret Wars is still not up yet).
They've worked hard on building it, but I don't think the database is big enough yet for a fantasy draft. Maybe it could be done in the rumbles so that people can use who they want and the character admins don't have to scramble to put in all these weird people. Plus the old Electric Ferret database is still available for viewing so we can go there and find characters to use.

Doing it in rumbles would be easiest right now. It would also be an opportunity to flesh out the database with characters that we want to use.

Right now I'm looking for at least 8 people who are definitely interested, though more are certainly welcome. I'll post some new topics later tonight concerning character slots and other such details.
