This thread will contain mega spoilers by the way, so be warned.
After seeing the Guardians of the Galaxy today, me and the mates I was going with we're wondering what other intergalactic heroes would join the roster, and these were the most likely ones based on their appearances in the MCU.
Cosmo the Telepathic Space Dog: While Cosmo doesn't show any signs of psionic powers in the film as he was just a cameo, but since he appears in a post credit scene, he may be a more important character than what people think. He is, after all, a member in the comics too, so it makes sense.
Howard the Duck: He appears in a post credit scene and he's Howard the fricking Duck. Nothing else needs to be said. Mind you, he looks pretty... Freakish in his first and so far only MCU appearance... Not too sure to be honest.
Thor: He can travel through space and stuff, so he could one day meet the Guardians and become a part time member. Maybe Asgard could be threatened by Thanos so he is forced to team up with them.
Also, my other mate said Sinestro will join the team. We just stared blankly and we are no longer friends.
