His plan had taken months of preparation. He knew being in Gotham city meant he had a flying rodent problem to deal with. So he planned and kidnapped key players. In the end game it would leave no one left to stop him in the city. It was his time and now he had finally captured the Bat.
A few hours later...
Dick Grayson awoke wrapped in chains, upside down, so tight he was unable to move. He was blind folded but could tell by the cold and sounds of water dripping he was somewhere near the Gotham harbor. Suddenly a door closed and he heard someone walking closer to him. The blindfold was ripped from his face exposing him to a bright light standing on a platform nearby. The man grabbed him by the neck looking deep into his eyes and Grayson could see no fear in the mans eyes. Then he realized that this was the man that the police had been on the look out for. His name was Bullseye. He went on and on about how smart and how great he was. The whole time Dick was working to find a way out of the chains. Then Bullseye told him he had a special surprise for him. Bullseye strode across the room to a partion wall standing on the far side. Kicking it over he revealed something that horrified Dick.
Barbara Gordon strapped to a chair. Her cloths in tatters, tears rolling down her face. Huntress lay on the floor chained looking bloody and beaten near death. Tim Drake had a knoose around his neck standing on a small stool, looking half alive. Bullseye walked over to Huntress without hesitation grabbing her by the hair and brandishing a knife slit her throat without a second thought. Dick screamed in horror and defiance tears coming to his eyes as he knew what was next. Bullseye spun and gave a quick kick to Robins mid section knocking him off the stool and Dick was helpless as he hung there watching Tim struggle to live. Bullseye just laughed and the boy finally became still. Then lastly he stepped over to Barbara. She began to wail and tears flooded her cheeks. Pulling out a pistol Bullseye leveled it next to Barbara's head and gave a quick smile and wink to Dick before he pulled the trigger. Dick was in shock. His whole world had come crashing down around him in one night. Then Bullseye just walked right past him and out the door.
4 weeks later...
Batman had not been seen in Gotham City for nearly a month. Crime had climbed to a record high recently and one man had become the focus of the GCPD. Bullseye was unattested by anyone. No one in the city had been able to stop him and all that had tried had failed. Gordon went to the roof of the GCPD in a desperate attempt to try his best to signal for Batman. Even though his previous attempts had proven futile he hadn't given up hope. When Gordon had seemed tired of waiting once again he turned off the signal. When he did he could see the shadow in the moonlight as the clouds parted and he knew who it was. He spoke to Batman explaining the situation and during the entire time he noticed that Batman seemed different. He seemed darker if that was possible. He seemed cold and forboding. Before the Dark Knight had left he had swore that Bullseye would pay dearly for what he had done and by the tone of his voice he realized that something inside the man had snapped and he would be identifying the body of one of two men tonight, either Bullseye or Batman.
