As a huge Capcom fan myself, I'm super exited that Capcom are actually revisiting this concept. The original Capcom Fighting All-Stars was cancelled due to negative feedback from fans, even though it featured an all-star cast as well as four cool looking original characters. They were called DD, Ingrid, Rook and Death, and yes, they will all be returning and will be animated using the EF-12 engine (A 3D MUGEN knockoff)
If this is real, then we can all expect a massive roster featuring all the characters slated for the original game as well as a crap tonne more. It just goes to show that old abandoned concepts can be rediscovered and made anew.
This game might actually be the mysterious new fighting game for Xbox One/PS4 Capcom hinted at a while ago. Miles923 theorised it, and now it's true! All I can say is, I hope Zubaz is in it...
