Team 2 is in serious trouble. New 52 Aquaman could probably take out both of them easily. You add in Shredder who can fight Batman for a long ass time and Team 1 wins.

When my wife picked Vegas for the fight, I cringed.
Now Aquaman has essentially no water except some fountains and Batman and Shredder have no dark places to hide.

My take on this matchup is that it all depends on how much being in the desert effects Aquaman, if at all.
Batman is familiar with him and has a plan for each JL member but can he implement it on such short notice and without his specialized equipment for the situation. Since they know one another I see Bats and Arthur fighting here. The fight could go one of two ways. Batman could get taken out quickly before Arthur becomes too dehydrated or Batman can hold Back and stale Arthur enough to make him manageable to defeat.
Shredder in my opinion would face beast. This would be interesting. Beast clearly has the physical advantage but in terms of fighting skills, current Shredder is A top comics martial artist. He has 3 lifetimes of experience, training, and strategy. He is also use to dealing with foes physically superior ala other mutants.
Thats my opinion but I'll wait to see others before voting.

With comicbook mechanics out the way Aquaman would have no problem knocking out Batman or Shredder. It would be a good amount of time before Aquaman would need water and Batman won't last long enough. Also Batman's counter measures for the JLA are at his bat cave in the new 52 stored safely away. So whatever weakness of Aquaman he may have he won't have it here.

I understand they are locked away but Bats may be able to improvise with his surroundings and with beasts help. Aquamans Atlantean physiology can't be much different from namors

I think Batman and Beast are the best team. They would work together better than all the rest.
I'm seeing Aquaman being very dangerous. I'm don't know if he's stronger than Beast, but Batman may see his mutant companion as physically fairing better than himself against the Atlantean.
Bat's is going to be surprised at how difficult Shedder is to deal with and only then trade places with Beast. Hank will have just as difficult a time with Shredder and then he and Batman will work out some team tactics.
Aquaman will try to work something out with Shredder the but proud Saki will shun him and decide that his weak opponent can fall and he can kill both of these opponents on his own. That is Team 1's downfall.

Beast is nowhere even close to Aquaman's level. Two or three powerful shots from Aquaman would knock out Beast easily. The same thing goes for Batman. He is right under Wonder Woman and Superman in the strength department though not actually on their level. His durability is up their as well and has reflexes higher then even Deathstroke.

actually bullets can hurt him. His durability is high but not on par with WW or Supes. His strength and durability on land kinda matches what it would take to survive the depths of the ocean but no more. Between Beast and Batman they could come up with a plan to dehydrate Arthur quicker and give themselves more of a chance.
They have the entire Vegas strip, so they can hide away and quickly plan some also. Shredder is a threat but Batman would know Arthur is the bigger threat. Also Batman knowing Arthur so well, he can delay Arthur and cause him to use more of his power and dehydrate himself quicker.

Aquaman can easily find water in the city from stores, restaurants, and more. Also unless they start out apart from each other Aquaman could reach Batman and knock him out before he even had a chance to put one foot forward. Also unless you put him in a desert Aquaman can go a very good while without water (More then a couple of hours) and Batman nor Beast will last long enough here to take advantage of that. Aquaman will only weakened after water dehydration. Aquaman is right under Wonder Woman and Superman in the strength department like I mentioned. Gunfire barely hurts him:   Look how quickly he super jumps away:  Batman trying to use explosions against Aquaman and fails. Then gives Superman a hell of a punch. Keep in mind this is above water the battle takes place in the comic.   Batman and Beast will lose here. |

The only way Batman would defeat Aquaman, is by Heavily preparing before the battle.
In a random battle, as this is, he's got about the same chances as a snowball in hell.
His standard equipment just isn't enough to do anything to Aquaman.
And if we aren't completely ignoring the laws of physics, even a glancing blow from Aquaman, will knock him out, if not outright kill him.
