They are all the most current versions.
All have standard gear.
The Arena has been changed to the arena from the Hunger Games Catching Fire. It's the clock style arena that presents a different threat every hour.
Teams can win by Death, KO, or incapacitation

LOL yea pretty much and the location their at in the movie does have fire as well he can use against the symbote. In a fight like this the team members can get separated by accident and let Midnighter have a field day kicking their asses. This is the perfect fight location for him to wipe out the other teams.

I have a hard time seeing Midnighter beat slade and cap by himself without some proof.
As far as the environment it's where Venom, Slade, and Caps most experience an training came from.
