Oh I'm not worried that they're going to turn a profit.
I'm worried they're going to be PSO.

Oh crap, typo. Happens when you're venting about something when trying to vent about something else to yourself at the same time.
POS.

Heh. I thought it might have been a crack on my drug comment, with definition 2. "2. An addicting drug that is taken through the eyes, highly addictive in large doses, smaller doses cause intrigue." Which quoted wrong, I see.. Usually, why I refrain from trying to quote, on this forum. :/
Only time will tell, how bad or good it is. I'm not expecting a cinematic piece of art, from a turtle movie, though, so my expectations may be lower.

shockwave: As far as his production credits go, Armageddon was a pretty good movie (and actually was directed by Michael Bay, might I add), and the others there (that I've watched, at least) suffered from directorial issues more than anything else, and above all other flaws - were born to fail. I mean, the Hitcher? Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street remakes? Hardly representative of the potential production quality, I should think. Producers obviously have input but their role is overshadowed by both the directors and writers from a storytelling standpoint, so if Bay comes up with an exceedingly dumb idea I'm sure someone'll smack him on the back of the head and send him back to his corner. There are five movies on that list with percentage scores higher than any of the rated TMNT movies on Rottentomatoes (besides Turtles Forever, which was amazing so nyeh), and a bunch of the rest are slasher flicks. Well Michael Bay was probably stoned then, leave him alone. That guy also directed an awesome Ring short film and Killing Room. He's done both good and bad. @drob: Jennifer's Body. How can you not appreciate the gratuitous kinky scenes, bodyshots and lesbianism? Obviously it's cinema in art form!!!

I didn't see enough in that TMNT trailer to make a decision on whether the film is looking good or not to make a decision. I need to see more of the film honestly. Megan Fox in Passion Play showed some decent acting skills even though it was a horrible movie. Hopefully this movie has a good script for her to show that. Interesting scene with one of the Turtles slamming into the vehicle like it was nothing. I think they may be combining more recent portrays of the Turtles in comics and tv shows into one combination. The original TMNT movie will always be the best though and a classic for me.
Actually Michael Bay made the Island film with Obi Wan and Black Widow which was very good and he does have great films on his resume. Transformers 2 was indeed a garbage film but compared to other Directors he still has a lot of good films on his resume. Plus he always destroys the box office with his big budget films. That's why he still gets work.
I agree with AVP this could be a hit or miss.

He makes big money with blockbusters because people don't actually want to know what's going on, they just want to see death and destruction. Transformers, for example. Worst fight scenes I have ever seen. But mega-hits.

How is it nitpicking when it's the in the TITLE of the series/movie? Yes or no, are the turtles going to be aliens in the finished product? After studio intervention and fans protest no (probably the only time that they changed a Bay film before it was released)
