I would like to start a character tournament. Basically I was going to come up with fairly even teams. People will debate on who would win. The winning team will then face the other winning team. Ex. Nightwing and elektra vs. lady shiva and winter soldier

the tournament will be posted in the rumbles section. the team mates were chosen at random and so will the fight placements
Here are the teams in a random order...
Beast and Azreal
Ladydeathstrike and Crossbones
Taskmaster and Cassanda Cain
Ben Reily and Shang Chi
Venom and Red Hood
Daredevil and Midnighter
Black Widow and Catwoman
Shredder and Deadpool
Nightcrawler and Snakeyes
Black Canary and Kaine
Cyclops and Hawkeye
Deathstroke and Captain America
The fights will be in an Urban Arena with spectators all around. The arena will consist of 4, 3 story buildings with a intersection in the center. Parked cars will be scattered on the street.
The winning team must Kill, KO, or incapacitate their opponent.

I'm gonna continue to do small tournaments like this but I'll try to find more equal characters since everyone agrees Midnighter would tear through this tourney.
Does anyone have a request for what power level or a specific style of character?
( style ex. Water based, flying, or fire)
(Class ex. Superhuman, human, street level, etc)

If you do street level include some independent (Like IDW or Dynamite) or video game characters to make it more fun.

For the current tournament, the team mates were picked by and online randomizer and so were their opponents.
My wife picked a random location for each battle without knowing what characters were fighting.
