I am Alive is great and so much fun. Even better I got it for free. I hope they make another game with the same engine and gameplay. WWE 2k17 is so much damn fun. The promos need some work for sure and I want my fucking custom music back. That's what keeps it at a 8.5 out of 10.

The single player campaign of Titanfall 2 is awesome but a bit short.
Can't wait to see what the dlc will contain.

If they include Spawn that game is going to make a shitload of money. Marvel vs Capcom 4? It would be nice if Marvel instead gave us a awesome Marvel game on the level of the Batman Arkham games and Injustice. About time. Marvel vs Capcom 3 with the way they handled things left a bad taste in my mouth still.

I really hope we get Spawn. He's as perfect a fit as Kratos was in Mortal Kombat 9.
And as for MvC4, I'm not sure if I believe the rumors yet. If it is legit though, I'll be pretty excited. I really like both MvC2 and MvC3, but I'm hoping for something different this time around.
And I swear, if Asura isn't in that game I'm done before it's even out.

If they make Marvel vs. Capcom 4, the gameplay should definitely be tweaked. The whole "if you get hit once by a good player, the game is pretty much over" system in the last game was a killjoy for pretty much everyone who wasn't an uber hardcore gamer. I still liked Marvel vs. Capcom 3 a lot, but I hardly ever played against anyone in that game online.
I found it funny how everybody looked at the updated Marvel side of the roster in Ultimate MvC3 and thought "what the fuck?", but after nearly all of them have had highly publicised television and movie appearances, it now makes more sense in hindsight. Even if they put more of the beloved X-Men characters in the game, there's always gonna be that one choad who just wants the Marvel side to be 98% X-Men plus Dr. Doom.
As for Spawn's appearance in the next Injustice, it's pretty much universally approved including by me. It'd be even sicker if the other guest characters in the poll make appearances later on down the line as DLC or something.

Just a quick update on my gaming life,
I just finished Dead Space. Not everything I thought it would be but a memorable experience none the less. I liked what it tired to do and it was creepy when it wanted to be. The scare factor kind of goes down once you've died in the same spot a hundred times though, which happened more than I like to admit. The final boss was a joke though, which surprised the hell out of me.
Anyway, I think I'm all tuckered out of Dead Space-ness for awhile. No rush getting to the second one so I think I'll start the first Mass Effect. Still in a space mood so that should satisfy me.

Okay, so the latest Marvel 4 rumour is that X-Men characters might not be included. I'm gonna call "bogus" on that right now. While I believe that the Marvel Cinematic Universe characters would receive heavy focus, X-Men characters are still featured alongside the rest of the Marvel universe in numerous other games, not least of which being Contest of Champions. Plus, I just wouldn't see Capcom smiling and going along with that because the X-Men are pretty much the faces of the Marvel side of the Capcom's crossover universe and were there at the Marvel vs. Capcom franchise's inception.
On the off chance of this rumour coming true, I would imagine that Capcom would consider ways of working around the rule to include similar characters. Skrull duplicates of X-Men characters? Warpies (you know, the people mutated by Mad Jim Jaspers' reality warping antics and are treated more or less the same as proper mutants in the Marvel universe)?

If copyright laws worked that way, then you could expect Fox to make Mickey Mouse movies but say "It's not really Mickey Mouse, it's just a man in a Mickey Mouse outfit!" If Marvel is deciding not to allow X-men characters, it's not like Capcom can weasel around on some weird technicalities. |

I knew it was a ridiculous idea, I only really brought it up because I believe that Marvel wouldn't disallow the X-Men either way. On a different note, I just read a few articles about this "news". Whenever these people say that the X-Men characters are getting marginalised by Marvel in the comics and games, it's just bollocks, because they're not. As for the Fantastic Four, they're not exactly getting marginalised either; hell, Reed Richards practically ended up being the main hero of Secret Wars III. It's only because the Four's latest film sucked shit that people just don't want to know them as much. |
