I don't have a PS4, but is your PSN ID the same name(KidStranglehold)? 'Cause if it's not.. you might want to put what it is, for any potential PS4 owners. ^^'

DRob, if you're playing Far Cry 3 for its co-op, you're doing it wrong.

Heh. I only decided to give the co-op a go, since there were a handful of trophies tied to it, and I was going to have all the rest. Thought it would be a fairly easy task, and a few more hours of enjoyment. I thought wrong... The single player was great, though. Took about 34-35 hours, I think, for me to do everything. Lot longer than most FPSs, not named Fallout. But the co-op will more than likely go unfinished. Now that I'm done with the singleplayer, I've gone back to Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction, and will move onto something else, once I finish that. It's not worth the frustration, trying to get into one of the two levels, I still need to complete(and at the start, to boot, since you won't get the trophy, unless you play the whole level..). So.. yeah.

Alice: Madness Returns, Crysis, and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Yay or nay? All 3 are on sale, this weekend, for $9.99, on PSN. I'm tempted to buy all 3, but not sure.. I think I'll hit up Youtube, as well, and see what they're like.
I have Crysis 3, already. Paid only $5, for it, in a previous sale. But, if I end up liking that one, I probably would want the other two, and Crysis 1 is only available, digitally, on consoles. Don't know when or if it will go on sale, again, so this may be the time to get it. Wish I'd played 3, so I'd know.. Darn backlog..

Crysis 2 and 3 are super good. I only play them from time to time as I'm not a big shooter fan, but I'm glad I have them in my collection. I wasn't a fan of Kingdoms of Amalur, but I think that's more of me nitpicking than it being a poor game.

I'm not a huge FPS fan, myself. I usually beat them, in a day or two, and then never touch them again. And rarely touch the online. When they're tailored for a single player experience, though, they can be great. Fallout 3/New Vegas and Far Cry 3, being some good examples.
Have you played the first Crysis, at all? That's the one I'm debating on, I just don't know if I really need it. Even on sale, it's kind of stupid, that I could buy 2 newer entries, for less than the first one's "sale price.." Is it necessary, to play them all? Or is it something akin to Fallout/Far Cry 3, where not having played previous games, in the series, doesn't really matter? I wouldn't have wanted to play Halos 1-3, out of order, for instance.
Kingdoms of Amalur does look like it could be fun. The video review I watched, said it was what Fable 3 would have been, if Fable 3 didn't suck. But I liked Fable 3, so... I don't know. Alice looks pretty freaky. ^^' Only had to watch the intro, to see that.

The first Crysis game is pretty cool, and it does give you some extra background information for how the world looks like it does in the 2nd and 3rd games of the series. The extra information is nice, but from what I can remember, both the 2nd and 3rd give a brief synopsis of what's gone on before, so you don't need the 1st one to get that info. It is however a fairly cool game, and imo well worth the money. As for Kingdoms of Amalur, it's awesome, the ingame lore is supremely well done, and if you like that type of game you'll probably love the combat mechanics, I can highly recommend it as well. Though, minor disclaimer, I've only played those games on PC, so there might be some changes to a console version, that makes it an entirely different gaming experience.

It is better to start from the beginning, I think, with a continuing storyline, so I'll probably go ahead and get it.
KoA sounds like it may be my type of game. The fact that it was compared to Fable, is a good thing. I've always enjoyed those. Meanwhile, with Morrowind, I just couldn't seem to get into it, and haven't bought an Elder Scrolls game, since. :/
I think the major difference, is normally graphics, but the gameplays could be different. Hopefully, not by too much, if so.

I loved the Fable series. Fable 3, in hindsight, was really disappointing, but I beat the first 2 a bunch of times. Still, did not like Kingdoms of Amalur. I wasn't a big Morrowind guy and I only played the Arena and the Dark Brotherhood storyline for Oblivion, but I bought Skyrim at midnight release. Well well well worth the $60 bucks. Skyrim is magnificient. If you like Fallout 3, you need Skyrim.

I did love Fallout 3. Only game of this generation, that I came close to putting 100 hours into, I believe. ..Or last generation, I guess. Was really looking forward to New Vegas, but it seems to enjoy crashing. A lot. Don't know if it's my copy, my 360, or what, but I've never had a 360 game freeze, as much as that one.. But maybe I'll give Skyrim a shot, one of these days.
I liked Fable 3. But after watching this, I can see how it was quite a big step down, from the previous one:
