Finally finished a PS3 game(not counting a few PSN digital titles, that I played on the side; Contrast, Rain, and Mad Riders. All worth the money, to me, despite being fairly short titles). It's hard to put into words, my thoughts on The Last of Us. The length was a surprise; 16 hours for a 3rd person shooter? Didn't think one playthrough was gonna take nearly that long. ^^; Anyone with a PS3 should definitely get it, as it is really, really good. The ending leaves me with a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, though.. Spoilers ahead. Mostly 'cause it doesn't really end. I mean, that's it? Maybe the DLC will make it better, or a possible sequel? But, as of now, I feel left hanging. Do Ellie and Joel just keep on living a relatively peaceful life together, while the rest of the world goes to hell? Would Ellie have rather sacrificed herself, to save everyone else? And if she finds out, that Joel lied(and possibly what he did), will she go back to the Fireflies? Maybe even kill Joel, in order to do so? And should he have let her die, so a cure could have been made?
That said, I did find the ending surprising. I was expecting a bummer ending, like the 1st season of Telltale's The Walking Dead. And probably wouldn't have wanted to ever play it again, just like that game, despite enjoying the rides. I might actually play through this one, again. Though, no telling when, since I have a huge backlog of games to play through. :/

That Walking Dead is one of the best games created in a while. So much fun and the first episode of Season 2 has you on edge from the first few minutes it starts.

Smash is giving out character reveals like it's a charity. I'm guessing the next character will be from the Kirby series on the 11th.

Became hopelessly addicted to True Crime: Streets of Hong Kong err.. Sleeping Dogs, for a few days. Really good open-world GTA-like game, set in China. Just have the Nightmare in North Point DLC, to do, now. Came with the version I bought, or I probably wouldn't bother. Definitely won't be touching the other DLCs. I only paid $11 and change for what I have, and the other two would be about $12 together. :/ There were a couple of things that I didn't like about the game, though: 1. Relationship stuff felt kind of lacking. You call each girl, do one date(usually, ending in one night stands), and that was about it. 2. JACKIE!!! I don't really picture Wei as an idiot, so this just felt out of character and stupidly put in, but why in the hell would Wei let Jackie go off by himself, after saving him? He knew Big Smile Lee wanted him dead, so he couldn't vote against him, or tell the other Triad members, that he tried to kill him, making them not want to vote for him. It just made no sense, whatsoever. I knew as soon as he walked off, "Welp, he's dead." Just.. dumb. 3. And 3. This just got annoying, after going across town, about a million times, for every collectible, mission, side mission, etc. But WHY couldn't they have let you call up a cab, with your cell phone(which you have, by the way), like in GTA?! There were times there were none near me( a lot, actually), so I'd jack a car, and just drive, to my destination.. But all in all, it was a lot of fun, and I'm glad Square Enix saved it from being scrapped. Don't know why Activision didn't go through with it, but their loss, I guess. Edit: Think I made the right choice not buying the other DLC.. Nightmare in North Point was pretty fun, but I did it, and all the side missions in less than 90 minutes. The main game took me a little over 32 hours of gametime, with all the extra things. I Youtube'd Year of the Snake, and it's nothing special, and only took the guy doing the vid about 90 minutes to play through. At least NINP had a fun storyline, albeit short. I was almost bored to tears, watching YOTS. The other one, Zodiac Tournament, I haven't watched, but the video for it is only 30 minutes, so.. yeah. Youtube=me saving myself $12 for 2 hours of content. Or you, if you heed my warning.

Ive been playing Batman: Arkham Origins and it just feels awesome. I love how they incorporate Batman meeting these characters for the first time. It just makes the game feel even more authentic.

I was liking Origins a lot, too.. Until I found out you have to do the Worst Nightmare challenges, at certain times, or you have to start a new game/new game+, in order to get them! I'll have to live without a fully upgraded Batman, in this case, 'cause I got too many games to play, and too little time, to have to start over, now. -.- Stupid.. But yeah, I just did Mad Hatter's sidequest; 'twas trippy. DamagEdit: Oh, and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons was interesting. Like playing a coop game, by yourself.. But definitely different. Another sad tale, though.. I need more happy games.

I just finished it, and all I can say is, SURFER WAS WRONG!!! Telltale makes playing a game as a little girl, fun! The stitching up your own arm part, man.. Made me cringe. Poor Clem.

When did I say that game sucked? I really liked it, I'm going through it again right now. While I haven't heard anything from you, until now, on the final product, you said, and I quote, "if Clem was the playable character, that game would suck donkey dick." So I stand by my statement. And this was where it's from.
