Videl ((γγΌγγ«) Bideru?) is the daughter of Mr. Satan. Like her father, she trains in martial arts, even surpassing him in strength. She uses her abilities to fight crime in the city, and after Gohan appears as the Great Saiyaman, she quickly figures out his identity. She uses that to blackmail him into teaching her how to fly. After Boo is defeated, the two form a relationship, eventually having a daughter named Pan. When the two fight crime together afterwards, she takes on the role of the "Great Saiyaman 2" or "Great Saiyawoman". Her name is an anagram of "Devil", a play on words with her father's name, Mr. Satan. She is voiced by Yuko Minaguchi in Japanese, Moneca Stori in the Ocean dub, and Kara Edwards in the Funimation dub.
Son Videl is the daughter and only known child of Mister Satan, who is very protective of her especially in respect to boys. She grows up learning martial arts hoping to be as great as her father when in fact, unknown to herself, she is already better and stronger than him. She is a tough, tomboyish character raised with fame all around her.
In keeping with the name puns of Dragon Ball and DBZ, her name is an anagram of Devil; since her father's original Japanese name is Mister Satan (Hercule in edited dub and in VIZ's censored manga, giving it the 'A for all ages' label). She later becomes the wife of Son Gohan and mother of Son Pan. After blackmailing Gohan to enter the tournament and teach her the Bukujutsu technique (using Ki energy to fly), she gradually starts to fall in love with him for his kind and honest heart.
