New Khazan: In the wake of the destruction of Khazan, the gods of that world banned together to build a new world and save the Characters. The world of New Khazan is young, and ever growing. It is broken up into separate districts, which are heavily guarded. Transport is allowed between the districts for characters who inhabit multiple forms of media, however it is strictly regulated. One character managed to set himself up as a god in this new world, and a small group of characters have regained their memories from the old world. They now battle the god's forces to regroup and fix the world.
Location: Somewhere, hidden in the multi-district spanning Clusterverse of New Khazan, exists a Towering Spiral Castle. Only those who are loyal to the Evil God know how to access the castle. Here, the Dark God is secure from all who would oppose him, sending his generals out to do his bidding or act as security should anyone find a way inside. Since the beginning of New Khazan, this hidden tower has allowd the God to rule in secret.
Itachi: In New Khazan, Itachi had pledged himself to the Evil God, much like many other powerful characters. His cold nature and skills as an assassin proved invaluable to the Dark God's rule. However, when Itachi encountered the former Universal Warriors, the ninja had long lost memories awakened. Seeing himself as a former ally to that group, Itachi spared Vin and Aang before setting out to try and bring down the Dark God himself.

Itachi knew he had Vin and Aang dead to rights. They were surrounded by the dead bodies of the Khazan transit workers which served as proof of that. The only threat was that dragon, clawing his way into Itachi’s mind. But for a disciplined ninja and master of genjutsu, as Itachi was, keeping his mind protected was an easy enough task. Despite the mental attack, Itachi jumped quickly to get behind the pair, ready to toss a kunai at each of them.
Before landing, he threw the knives at the back of his target’s necks. To his surprise, something pushed his aim off. Itachi readied another knife, as he landed. The ninja noticed a subtle movement from the bald on, and when he landed he felt the ground shift beneath his feet.
Itachi simply corrected his footing before diving forward at the group. Itachi began making hand signs, in order to launch a fire style jutsu at the pair.
Before he launched his attack, Itachi found himself somewhere else. Was this some sort of Genjutsu? It felt… different, and somehow familiar.
Itachi was on a battlefield. The ninja looked around and saw, himself, lying dead and broken as heroes from across the multiverse battled through the chaos, moving toward a read haired devil of a man. “What is this illusion?” Itachi asked out loud.
<It’s no illusion,> the dragon Shurikan spoke through his mind, <You’re in a memory. Vin’s memory of you in another lifetime. She couldn’t save you… but she made sure to avenge you.>
Itachi looked around and saw Vin, along side man with white hair and a massive sword. The pair seemed to have an enormous power boost, as they moved with speed and strength unseen to the ninja before. The man tossed his giant sword to Vin as she leapt into the air. Vin brought the sword down, cleaving the devil man in half. The man smiled, and said, “Jackpot.”
The scene faded just as quickly as it appeared, and Itachi was completing his dash against Vin and Aang. The ninja stood between the pair and before they could react, he struck both of them in the back of the necks - knocking them out.
Total fight time, 3 seconds.
Itachi met eyes with the dragon and Itachi gave the massive beast a nod before leaving his opponents.
Since then, Itachi had thought about a lot. He tried to remember what happened between him and Vin, but for the life of him couldn’t recall the two ever meeting. Still, he believed what he saw and got the feeling that they were allies. Perhaps even friends.
Beyond that, Itachi thought about his life that brought him to Khazan. He had chosen the path of a villain, true. He knew his actions were evil, and that he had chosen irredeemable allies. But he always felt he was doing so for the greater good. Itachi knew, in his heart, there was no happy ending for him. He accepted that fate so that his brother could live.
But here in Khazan, Itachi had no justification. Itachi had chosen the path of a villain only to protect himself. No matter who Vin was, Itachi knew it was time to stop running. He’d either change his fate or die because of it.
Kratos and Itachi arrived at the case gates at the same time. “Itachi…” Kratos said with disgust, “What brings you back here.”
“I have a report to make,” Itachi said, “I managed to take out two of his targets. Two of the ones who you let escape, actually.”
“It was that creature Mewtwo who let them get away. He failed to stop them, and when I was sent to his aid, he attacked me.” Kratos dropped the pokemon’s head at Itachi’s feet, before saying, “It was he last mistake.”
“I see,” Itachi nodded, “So you’ve returned to turn yourself in?”
“Turn myself in?” Kratos repeated, obviously thrown by the comment.
“You killed one of your allies; surely an act of treason like that can’t go unpunished.”
Kratos growled, his rage getting the better of him once more, “He stopped being my ally the moment he provoked me. Consider that a warning, Itachi.”
“It sounds like a threat if you ask me,” Itachi said, stepping passed Kratos. With his back to the Spartan, Itachi said, “I’ll be sure to mention to our divine employer that his god killer is attacking his very own men.”
The god of war refused to take Itachi’s disrespect. He didn’t know what game Itachi was playing, but he would not be a part of it. Kratos threw one of his blades at the back of the ninja. As the weapon cut through Itachi, Kratos pulled it back to discover that he only hit Itachi’s coat.
“Now whose provoking who?” Itachi asked, now standing behind Kratos.
“No more words, ninja,” Kratos said before he spat on the ground, “I will teach you to watch your tongue.”
Itachi - Full power, all standard weapons and abilities. Will not hesitate to kill Kratos, but will settle for subduing him some other way.
Kratos - All weapons and powers. 50 percent blood lusted. Prepared to kill Itachi.
