Previously: After defeating Bruce Irving in a secret fight club, LeRoy Greene was invited by Kir Kanos to help him take down a
terrorist. This, LeRoy was sure, would lead him deeper into the true purpose of the fight club.
Vincent had some vicious attacks but his skills paled put up against the Master of the Glow. LeRoy almost didn’t need The Glow but
the terrorist injured him and the secret art was needed for a quick healing.
Conveniently, Kir Kanos showed himself after the fight was over.
“You set me up!” LeRoy pointed an accusing finger.
“I did.” Kanos admitted “Wanted to be sure you could handle a real battle.”
“What do you want from me?” LeRoy demanded.
“I’m putting together a team. I want you on it. You just passed the test.”
LeRoy thought about the proposal. President Palmer had sent him to find out what this fight club was all about. This seemed to be
taking him in the right direction. If only he could get ahold of Vanessa.

Kir took LeRoy to an isolated part of the city. There were a few other individuals already they. They perked up when Kanos arrived.
Evidently, they had been waiting for him.
“This is the last man in your group. LeRoy Greene. He’s brand new so he’s going to be a little taken back by what we’re up against.”
Kanos went on to make introductions.
He pointed out a young pair, probably not even twenty-one yet.
“This is Mako and his brother Bolin. Mako is a fire bender and Bolin is an earth bender.”
LeRoy recognized the pair. They were athletes in Pro Bending. Not superstars, but usually put up good match. Their biggest problem
was a reliable third man which was how Pro Bending teams were structured: one fire bender, one earth bender and one water
bender.
LeRoy liked watching Pro Bending because all benders utilized their power through traditional Kung Fu.
Now wasn’t the time, but LeRoy was going to ask how two professional athletes came into an environment like this.
Bolin, the brighter of the two was also younger, perhaps seventeen or eighteen. LeRoy was put a little more at ease by his youthful
enthusiasm.
Mako, a more serious young man, politely shook LeRoy’s hand but seemed to keep a suspicious eye on Kanos.
“And here we have Nick Gant. A telekinetic.”
This man was in his mid to late twenties. There was bitterness in his eyes and LeRoy noted the gun stuffed into his pants.
Kanos now explained what they were there for.
“A small group of delinquents that the police can’t handle have been located. We are going to bring them to justice.
The hideout was a typical abandon building. A bit strange in Florida, but the news was reporting a slump in the economy.
Kir Kanos gave his team what information he could, but it wasn’t much. He didn’t know names and such but he said that there were
at least a few guys with powers. There wasn’t even enough to know just what kind of powers.
Kanos took Nick Gant and LeRoy in with him while Bolin and Mako waited outside as back up. Kanos and LeRoy had the most stealth
skills and left Nick to trail them.
After a few minutes of sneaking around, they found some people. There were six of them: only the big Japanese guy stood out
because of his size.
“I’m telling you now, the money better be good or we’re gonna have a real problem.” One man said. He was younger, like Bolin with
red hair and sagging jeans.
“Will you keep your cool, Hotstreak?” a scruffy looking man chided. He talked with an Irish accent. “I’ve already been paid for a
previous job. We don’t need to worry about getting paid.”
“Well then why hasn’t he told us what he wants us to do?” Hotstreak complained.
“It’s always a last minute thing with him.” The Irish man explained.
A scary looking black guy set out to straighten the doubters. “You new guys came in ‘cause nobody else would take you. So if you
wanna walk- walk. Otherwise, shut up and wait for instructions.”
It worked and there was no more complaining.
Two men standing together shared a laugh.
“Knox is really good at shutting guys down, huh Cody?” Said the balding guy in the tan sports jacket.
“Looks like it, Flint.” Cody looked like a true convict in the striped outfit.
Beside LeRoy, Kir Kanos gave him the plan.
“I’m going to come out into the open and get them riled up. You come take on whoever reacts last. Grant can assist you when he
catches up. Mako and Bolin will be able to stop anybody who tries to run.”
LeRoy nodded his understanding and the battle began.
Fight Parameters:
Team Kanos is out to capture the other group. Kanos will come out into the open and let whoever reacts first attack him.
LeRoy will tackled the slowest one to attack Kanos.
Nick Gant will arrive in just a minute and help out.
If any of the bad guys try to run, they’ll have to get past Mako and Bolin.
