Devil Fruit War Side Story: Solid Snake/Law VS Ra's/Darhk

Neither Solid Snake nor Emmett Graves gave an inch during their heated battle. Both used each tactic and bullet in their arsenal to overcome the other, but even when at a disadvantage, Solid Snake still held his own and out-maneuvered Emmett’s superior firepower.
Snake had Emmett pinned down as he moved in for a final shot. Unfortunately, Snake’s loss of blood had finally caught up with him. His vision blurred and his footing slipped, giving Emmett the opportunity he needed.
A near fatal shot put Solid Snake on the ground...
“Looks like you really are all talk,” said Emmett as he hovered over Snake, gun ready to deliver the kill.
“A shame I have to do this. We could have helped each other but you just had to do things your way, huh? Oh well... So long-”
“ROOM,”
In a single instant, Emmett Graves was gone. Instead, Trafalgar Law now stood in his place overtop a fallen Solid Snake. Before Snake could make sense of this, his body started to shut down and unconsciousness followed.
Snake awoke with a start. His body jerked forward but pain immediately stopped him. Before he could realize what was happening, Law spoke.
“Good, you’re awake. Guess that means those rumors about you were true.”
“Wah, what’s going on?” Snake asked wearily.
“No need to be alarmed. I treated your wounds after you and Graves had it out. Don’t do too much moving around, though. The extensive surgery has left your body weak for the time being. You’ll be back to normal soon now that you’ve awakened.”
Solid Snake raised himself slowly as he gathered his surroundings. The two were still on the pirate ship but it seemed as Law had converted a cabin into a medical room to treat him. He could feel the night air seeping into the room as he stepped onto the blood-covered floor.
“How long have I been out?” Solid Snake asked.
Law shifted from his laid back stance and stood up straight to answer, “Honestly, I can’t really remember. Night fell just a few hours ago but I had already been in here with you when that happened.”
“Why... why did you treat me? You could have let me die and got away with the supply crates...” Snake pointed out.
Law shot back a confident smirk, “I’m a surgeon. Treating people is my job. Besides, unlike Graves, I have no quarrels with you. I don’t work of anyone but myself.”
“A free agent...” Snake suddenly felt lucky to have had a medical doctor locked up with him. Law had been telling the truth. And that meant he could trust him.
“Don’t start getting any ideas about me joining you or whatever. I may have saved your life, but those crates still belong to me. I’m the only one who knows how they work and what they can do.”, said Law.
Tension in the room sparked as Snake rebutted, “Is that why HYDRA captured you?”
“Yes... they blindsided me and I was captured before I knew what was going on. Think they wanted to use me for my knowledge on the Devil Fruits...,” Law explained.
“And what can you tell me about the Devil Fruits?” Snake asked, slowly moving to find what was left of his gear.
“Enough. But I have no reason to tell you. I told you I want no part in this,” Law responded.
“You’re already involved. Hydra will be looking for this boat and its contents. If you still consider those contents rightfully yours, then you’ll need to protect them. Shield can help... I can help. But to do that, I need your help first.”
Law remained silent as he gave Snake’s words some weight. Law knew that the Devil Fruits needed to be kept from Hydra hands, but was he really ready to get involved in an all-out-war? If not, what was he going to do?
As if answering his internal question, Snake spoke up, “I need to contact Nick Fury. I have vital information about one of our men so I we need to get this boat to shore.”
“I... Fine. I can take you to shore. But you’ll have to find Fury on your own. Deal?”
“Deal,” Solid Snake agreed.
So the duo made their way to the nearest port... unaware of another duo that awaits their arrival.
“You seem tense, Mr. Darhk,” said Ra’s Al Ghul.
“You’ll have to forgive my impatience, Ra’s. I never was so good at fishing. I’ve always been the type to go after what I want, not the other way around.” Damien Darhk responded as he continued to stare into the bay.
“The ship will be arriving soon, I can assure you,” Ra’s assured him.
“Ha, well, let’s hope you’re right. I’m eager to see what these fruits you’ve told me about can really do,” Damien said with a smile.
As predicted, the former Hydra ship approached the bay and within minutes of it docking, Ra’s had his men search it.
Whether the assassins were prepared for Snake and Law or not, they were certainly in for a fight.
Solid Snake and Trafalgar Law are at full health and have standard weapons/gear.
Ra's Al Ghul is comic book incarnation and has 50 of his best League Assassins accompanying him.
Damien Darhk is Arrow (TV) incarnation.
Ra's/Darhk aim to kill Snake and Law while also capturing the ship intact. Snake and Law win if they defeat their opponent or escape.
