The third round of the Gauntlet was over quickly. Attila charged the Prince, who instinctively rolled from the larger opponent. But the matches had taken their toll on the Prince, pain shot through his ribs and slowed his movement. This allowed Attila to slash the Prince’s leg. The strike had enough force to draw blood, even through the protective covering on the sword. The Prince tried to recover, but Attila kicked him in the ribs. The Prince crumbled. Attila stabbed at the Prince; but the Prince rolled to the side. With his enemy hunched over, the Prince brought his foot up and kicked him in the side of the head with as much force as he could muster. Attila was stunned, long enough for the Prince to make it to his feet. Attila recovered quickly and charged.
From the crowd, Starkiller watched on. He knew he couldn’t let the Prince lose, not if he wanted the Prince’s help. Doing his best to not draw attention to himself, he waited until the last second before Attila attacked the Prince again and used the force to push the Prince to the side and pull Attila toward the cage. It looked like an expert dodge by the Prince, which caused Attila to knock himself out.
The Prince sat in the trainer room, once again arguing with him as he bandaged his leg. When Galen arrived, the trainer looked at him, “You again. Talk some sense into your friend will you?”
Galen nodded, “Give you a minute.”
“Yeah,” the trainer said, exiting the room, “I’ve done all I can here…”
“Thank you for helping,” The Prince said, once he was sure they were alone, “But that was risky.”
“Maybe a little,” Galen agreed, “But if I did nothing you would have lost.”
“If I lose, then it’s plan b,” the Prince said, “If we get caught cheating, we’ll bring a lot more attention to ourselves.”
“Alright, fine,” Galen said, “But I did one more thing to help.” he handed the Prince a blue dagger, outfitted with familiar safety covers.
“The Dagger of Time…” The Prince said, taking his familiar weapon, “But how?”
“I can be pretty convincing when I want to,” Galen said with a smirk, “I told them you’re so hurt you need a trump card, to keep things interesting.”
“Thank you,” The Prince said.
“AND HERE WE ARE!” The announcer called back at ringside, “The fourth round of the Gauntlet! Our challenger is barely walking away after the first 3 rounds and he’s not even halfway through contest. Can he persevere? I call your attention to the screen where The Prince of Persia is arriving at the location to take on Mayhem itself!”
The Prince arrived at the warehouse where his opponent was waiting... Somewhere.
The Prince of Persia; equipped with the Dagger of Time. He's still fighting through bruised ribs, and also a cut on his right leg limits mobility.
Mayhem; Can cause "accidents" but physically is only strong and fast as an average man. Easily KOed if The Prince can get to him.
Winner must knock out or make their opponent surrender. The Prince needs to navigate the warehouse and find Mayhem.
