The Evil Creator crushed his crystal ball in his bare hand. As the shards feel to the ground, the image of Kratos holding Mewtwo’s served head could be seen pieced together. “Fool…” he said bitterly, “You let them escape.”
He waved his hands and three more crystal balls hovered toward him, each one with a shadowy figure standing in its image. “They escaped,” the creator told his servants, “Mewtwo was a fool, and his actions allowed them to escape. Vin, the dragon, and the Avatar are headed to one of your Districts… Be ready.”
The battle between Mewtwo and Kratos gave the heroes a time to reach the transit center. “To the ‘Toon district then?” Vin asked, as the doors magically widened to accommodate Shurikan.
Aang smiled uncomfortably as they passed the security, “AH yes, back to my home district where I come from, and have a free pass to go back to and can also bring my two good friends for a short visit.”
Vin eyed Aang curiously, “Right… So, that’s where we’re going?”
“No, we need to get to the Anime District,” Aang whispered, before loudly saying, “YES, OF COURSE WE ARE! That’s the District I’m allowed to travel to after all!” As Vin continued to look at him confused, Aang whispered to her, “I’ll explain later.”
They arrived at the check in, and the bearded ticket checker said, “Passports?”
Aang patted his robes, “Uh, no pockets…”
“Passports!” The retired wizard said louder.
“I don’t have them!” Aang protested, “But I’m from the ‘TOON DISTRICT! You SAW me arrive.”
“No boarding without passports! No after everything that’s happened today.”
Vin tried to step in, using her emotional alomancy to make him more agreeable, “Listen, my friend forgot his passport, but clearly they let him through to visit us. Can’t you let him go home?”
Just as the wizard was about to deny them, Shurikan roared, putting everyone on high alert and brought his tail around and smacked the wizard. The security came in quickly, and in a powerful pull Vin brought all the metal she could in, before pushing out with pewter enhanced strength. Weapons, armor, and jewelry went flying sending everything in chaos. Aang bent a wall of earth.
They boarded an outgoing craft and Vin shot a coin at the control switch to send them en route to the Anime District. “So… What’s the deal?” Vin asked, “If my memories are correct, there’s no one in the anime district to help us.”
“Well, you’re right. But Ben and myself met up in the Cartoon District. It’s a long story, but we agreed to go in opposite directions and meet back up,” Aang told her.
“It makes sense,” Shurikan spoke, cramped in the craft as he was, “We don’t know how the others have spread, and this way we cover all the possibilities.”
Vin nodded, “Alright.” She looked over to Aang again and asked, “Have you been able to figure anything out?”
“I reached out to my past lives,” Aang said, “And I talked to myself… Well, okay, they’re all me. But this one was literally me, ‘Avatar Aang’.”
Vin and Shurikan were slightly taken aback by this, each knowing little of the Avatar cycle. But with their own magical experiences it wasn’t anything too out of the ordinary. “And what did you tell yourself?” The black dragon asked.
“There was another world, where we all lived. Their god gave up.”
Vin thought back to her time in Scandrial. “I’ve had my fill of gods for several lifetimes.”
“Well, the minor gods banded together and made a new world, to save us all,” Aang said, “But something went wrong. And someone is shaping the world to benefit them… I think one of those gods chose us to fix this world.”
“Because we all have history in the old world,” Vin added.
“And we’ve overcome great evil together before,” Shurikan said.
The shuttle arrived, “They’re probably expecting us,” Vin said, “We have to be ready for a fight.”
Aang nodded, and Shurikan attempted to but hit his head on the roof of the craft. The doors opened and the three heroes burst out. The dragon roared a mighty flame as he extended his wings. Aang overturned the ground under their feet to disrupt any potential attack. Vin shot coins in every direction. After they stopped their initial attack, they looked to see all the transit workers were already dead.
“What the hell…” Vin said as she walked through the massacre. She heard a familiar hum, one that the past her knew well. She looked ahead and saw Starkiller, turning off his light saber. He smiled warmly and approached. Vin returned his smile, but was still weary, “What… happened…”
“I did this, for you,” Galen said, taking her hands in his.
Vin allowed him to hold her hands, a mix of emotions flooding her being. “What do you…?”
“They were waiting… I had no choice.”
Vin looked around. The bodies had vanished. “Where…” she began to ask, noticing that Aang and Shurikan were also gone.
“It’s okay now Vin,” Galen said, caressing her cheek, “We’re alone now.”
“But…” Vin pulled back.
“Don’t you remember our life? Our daughters?”
“Katie…” Vin said, “Katrina… They’re… They don‘t exist.”
“But we do. We’re together again,” he said.
“Galen…” Vin whispered.
“Not even the end of the world could keep us apart,” he smiled and leaned in to kiss her.
Vin closed her eyes and returned the kiss, with passion. A sudden pain caused her to push Galen away. She arched her back. It felt like her spin was being ripped out of her back. Her husband, Eland Venture, stepped out from her back. “How dare you?” He scolded. Vin turned to him. The look on his face was a combination of disgust and betrayal. “I love you Vin, I gave you everything; and this is how you return my affection?”
“I…” Vin stammered, “No…” Vin dropped to her knees, tears streaming down her face.
Another voice called out, the voice of Shurikan, “ENOUGH!”
The world around Vin shattered like glass, as the spell broke. She was in the transit, standing next to Aang with the massive black dragon behind them. Vin could tell Aang was under a similar spell. As they looked around the room, filled with dead, “Aang, what did you…”
“Not now,” Aang said, gesturing forward.
Vin looked to the man who had greeted them. In a flash, memories returned to her. Memories of the tournament, where it all started. “Itachi…” Vin said. Anger quickly quelled her confusion. The things he made her see, she wanted nothing more than to make him pay. But she steeled her emotions, took a deep breath, and said, “Be careful, I was an ally of his once. He’s powerful and his Sharigan can trap us in a world we can’t escape from…”
“No…” Shurikan said, obviously struggling, “…His… Illusions… I’m blocking them… But he’s… Have to focus.”
“That just leaves us…” Aang said.
Vin nodded, “This is going to be tough… But maybe…” she had an idea. She just prayed it could work.

Vin - Full power, all allomancy abilties with 2 replacement vials for each.
Aang - Full power, can go into Avatar state, potential to spirit bend
Shurikan - can't help in direct combat, using his mental abilities to block Itachi's genjutsu
VS
Itachi Uchiha - Full power, 40% attention spent on trying to break through Shurikan's guard.
Itachi wins if he can kill Vin and Aang or trap them in his Sharingan. Vin and Aang win if they incompasitate/kill Itachi or if Vin can convert him to their side. Itachi was Vin's partner in the first UWT, but Itachi has no memory of Old Khazan.
