Previously: Receiving the SOS from the Gold Zeo Ranger, Andros- the Red Space Ranger- went to retrieve his comrade and his
powerful Zord Pyrimidas. Hawkman arrived and attempted to arrest the Power Ranger.
In the opening onslaught, Hawkman lifted himself several feet off the ground and then swooped down and tried to smash the Red
Power Ranger with his mace.
Andros back flipped out of the way and immediately drew his blaster. Hawkman was swinging around for another pass as the Power
Ranger opened fire. The Thanagarian dipped and zipped his way through the blasts but was forced off of his attack vector.
When he was close enough. Andros leaped and did a high back flip kick. He missed and Hawkman tapped him back to the ground
with his mace.
It was enough to knock him out. Hawkman scooped up his foe and took him to his allies. The Zords could be collected later.
The Triceratons regarded him hastily.
“You captured a worthless prisoner!” bellowed the commander. “Your usefulness has amounted to nothing!”
“Listen here, reptile…” Hawkman began.
“Enough! While we wait for out contact to call for us. We can dispose of the useless prisoner in an interesting way. The Robeast
which we purchased from The Drules has not been activated. We can let it loose on the prisoner and see how quickly he dies.”

Andros went through several options for escape but was surprised that no one had come to question him. He hadn’t demorphed but
his helmet had been removed.
If his captors meant ill to his person then they would have killed him already. They must have had more important things to worry
about than a prisoner.
When they finally did come, Andros was surprised to see two Triceatons rather than more winged Thanagarians. Could this mean
some kind of Triceraton-Thanagar alliance?
“Come along human.” One of them grinned hungrily. “We’ve got a special treat for you.”
Andros put up no resistance. The longer he stayed in custody, the more opportunity he had to learn about the aliens’ alliance.
He was left in a large chamber. Not grand, but large enough to for a fight. That was obviously what the Triceratons intended for
him.
Just inside, Andros found his helmet and saber and blaster. He immediately rearmed himself and waited for his opponent.
Across the room, a monster entered. It had bat-like face and carried a lethal sword.
With a roar, it charged the Red Space Ranger, sword raised high.
Andros held his ground and waited for the right moment to move.
FIGHT SUMMARY
A straight gladiator brawl. The Batface robeast has not been grown to giant size. It is human proportioned.
NOTE: This is the very first Robeast that Voltron battled in the 80’s cartoon. It ate the Lions for breakfast in their first fight and
almost kept them from forming Voltron at all in their second fight. Here's some video of his fight with Voltron so you can see what
