The self made Creator God watched on through his Crystal ball as Mewtwo and the Avatar clashed. “He should be finished by now,” the Creator said, typing his hands on the arm of his throne.
“As powerful as he may be,” spoke the ashen Spartan from the shadows, “He is little more than a glorified beast; a creature like him is nothing without a master to guide him.”
Taking a long pause, the Creator considered the weight of Kratos’s words and thought on their meaning. “Perhaps you are correct. If so I was fool to send him alone. You have proven to be my greatest asset,”
“I am much more than a simple ‘asset’,” Kratos quickly corrected, “I only ‘serve’ you as long as our goals align. Do not forget this god.”
“What I mean to say is, you should have taken this task from the beginning, so I shall correct my mistake and send my champion to crush three enemies in one swoop.”
Vin sat back as the power of the elements clashed against the sheer force of Mewtwo’s psychic power. The misborn couldn’t believe how the sheer power she witnessed, and began to question what her, or anyone from her new memories, did to aid Aang if this was the level of power he displayed. In a matter of moments, Vin found herself standing in a crater - hiding under Shurikan’s wing for safety.
As the fight went on, neither side seemed as if it was slowing - until Aang’s power abruptly stopped. The glowing faded from his eyes and arrows, where as Mewtwo’s eyes grew a violent purple. Aang slowly lowered to the ground, before turning to Vin. His eyes now had the same purple glow.
Over the course of the fight, Mewtwo had managed to sift through all the memories coursing through Aang’s mind in order to seize control of him. Aang reached into the sky, shooting a pillar of fire from his hand. He kept the stream of fire constant as he brought his arm down, in a slashing motion.
Shurikan awake in time to see Aang attacking; in an instant the dragon curled himself protectively around Vin - shielding her from the flames while spewing out his own torrent of black fire. Aang bent the fire around him, keeping safe from harm. It wasn’t long before Shurikan sensed the mental manipulation.
Shurikan threw up a mental wall around Aang’s mind, keeping the psychic pokemon out. And in that same instance, Aang bent the black flames toward Mewtwo. The pokemon was caught off guard and the attack hit with the force of 10 fire blasts.
Mewtwo’s body crashed into the ground and when he stood, he found himself surrounded by the heroes. “Give it up,” Aang said, “You’ve lost.”
Before Mewtwo could respond, a portal opened, and Kratos stepped out. “Foolish heroes,” the demigod spoke, “Your fight has just begun.”
Mewtwo shot Kratos a glare, “What are you doing here?”
“Our master sent me to finish what his pet could not.” Kratos stepped in front of Mewtwo and swung one of his blades.
But the psychic pokemon wouldn’t tolerate such disrespect. He had been considered many things in life; an experiment, a servant, a slave, a tool… he would not stand for being called a pet. Mewtwo stopped Kratos’s blade in the air. “No one controls me,” Mewtwo said, “You and your master will pay for this mistake!” The pokemon pushed Kratos back with his power, before turning to three heroes. “This is your only chance to leave! If we cross paths again, I will destroy you all as well.”
Vin wanted to stay and fight, she wasn’t one to run. Aang wanted to try and convert Mewtwo, it seemed they had similar goals now at least. Shurikan knew both paths were futile, “We leave,” he spoke to his friends through their minds. As Kratos and Mewtwo faced off, Aang and Vin bored Shurikan and headed toward the Terminal that would allow them to leave this district.
Mewtwo, survived two intense battles, still at about 80% power.
Kratos, full weapons and abilities, 100% power.
