Previously: Baron Zemo created a prison break in order to build his Masters of Evil. The Bionic Six responded to the emergency
attempting to halt the chaos.
The Bionic Six did the best they could but a number of inmates escaped. Sport-One was injured as was Rock-One although less so.
IQ and Karate-One fared better but only because they weren’t around to tackle the heavy hitters.
Bionic-One and Mother-One came out the best. They had helped a number of guards who were hurt so they, too weren’t around to
tackle the heavy hitters.
A S.H.I.E.L.D. team had come to help lock down those inmates that remained. And a long long time later came another superhero
team.
Youngblood was pretty new on the scene. They were an American sponsored super team, established after the Superhuman
Registration Act. They had done a bit of good but hadn’t really gotten to handle ‘A’ list threats such as Dr. Doom or Magneto. In fact,
several of the members of Youngblood used their super hero status to build an endorsement career and make a lot of money.
“Well. Look who’s fashionably late.” Karate-One smarted off.
Shaft, the leader of the group, ignored him. He was strapping red head that had served well in the FBI. His marksmanship was
superb and the Younblood creators encouraged him to take up a bow and arrow as his gimmick. If it worked for Hawkeye, if it
worked for Green Arrow, he could work it to.
Walking up to Bionic-One, Shaft opened the conversation.
“Looks like things are in order here.”
He offered his hand.
“Thanks for coming.” Bionic-One took it politely.
“We’d be glad to take your statements.” Shaft said next.
“I’m sorry Shaft, but I need to finish the clean up here and get my family patched up.”
“Come on now, Bionic-One. It’s protocol. I expected better cooperation from you.”
“Your protocol. The Bionic Six aren’t subordinates of Youngblood. We issue any reports to S.H.I.E.L.D. You can get it from them once
it’s in.”
Shaft looked a little peeved. “You know, Bionic-One. I respect your career. But you guys got your asses handed to you. If you’re
going to put your children in the field, you should get them trained.”
“I make sure I keep the Bionic Six at their level I know when to call The Justice League or Avengers. This was something planned,
Shaft. If Youngblood plans on following up on this incident, I’d suggest you look hard at the inmates who escaped.”

Baron Zemo reveled in his victory. His Masters of Evil was forming up nicely. It wouldn’t be too long before they were ready to
tackle some of the super hero teams.
The prison break was especially fruitful. Not only did Rain and Vicious acquire Cinderblock but they brought along a collection of
grateful inmates who were interested in helping him with what he was trying to do.
The terrorist Gauron who had been captured by the ‘noble’ mercenary organization Mithrell. The billionaire turned madman Obadiah
Stane. He had come to rival Tony Stark back before the world knew that Stark was the man in the Iron Man armor. The armored
Avenger thrashed Stane and he had remained behind bars ever since.
They should have left the cyborg Bryan Fury but he could be pointed in the right directing and eliminated if he became too much
trouble.
Lastly was Creed Diskenth. He had started some kind of revolution and was taken down by a bounty hunter of all things. As soon as
Zemo saw him, he knew that he was a problem right now.
“This is quite a group you’ve gathered Baron.” Diskenth flaunted around.
“We fight for a better world.” Zemo replied.
“Aw yes, yes. A better world. I can relate.”
“Your freedom is a byproduct of our work. You are permitted to go and be about you business.”
Still flaunting about, Creed held his response a few moments.
“No, I think I’ll stay here. You’ve established such a base.”
“What do you want Diskenth?”
“I should lead this group. If you agree to follow me Baron Zemo, I promise I won’t kill you.”
Zemo cocked his head. “Kill me?” He said the words as if they were the punchline of a bad joke.
In a flash, Baron Zemo drew his sword and struck out at the man.
Creed Diskenth had reacted equally fast, drawing his own sword and blocking Zemo’s stroke.
The others watched with keen interest to see who would kill who.
