The Trial of Vin Venture went well enough for her. The hours of examination and cross examination were stressful, but with Ace in her comer trying to prove her innocents, she was in good hands. More over, Sherlock Holems was on the other side trying to find the truth; the real truth, not the usual “guilty until proven innocent” truth. All of this, plus the fact that Vin was entirely innocent helped converge to prove her case. Link was the victim. His own Master sword was the murder weapon. But Vin’s finger prints weren’t found on the sword, nor could her alomancy affect the sword. And so the verdict passed, “Vin Venture, in the murder of the Hero of Time, Link you have been found innocent!”
And while Vin felt the weight lifted off her chest, another on looker felt rage burning inside. The Corrupt Creator watched trial through his crystal ball. He clenched his fist around the magic ball, nearly crushing it. He took a deep breath and sighed, releasing the orb. It floated up and joined the other Crystal Balls that orbited the Creator’s throne. One showed an image of the current match in the Gauntet, a second played the fight between 2 teams of Power Rangers, and third simply showed the artificial pokemon known as Mewtwo flying above the courtroom.
The Evil Creator snatched that ball, “You failed!” he shouted, “Your plan backfired and Vin Venture will now be free.”
“I haven’t failed,” Mewtwo responded telepathically, “I knew there was a chance she’d walk free, that’s why I waited.”
The door opened behind the Creator. He turned his head, to see the bloodied warrior drag himself into the room. He turned to his Crystal Ball again, “You have one chance, or else I’m sending in someone who has already succeeding in his goal.” On those words, the Orb floated back into the air.
After the connection was severed, Mewtwo pondered the threat. As powerful as the telepathic Pokemon was, even he feared the power of this Creator. And so he watched as people flooded out of roman style courthouse. Scribes waited eagerly with pens and parchment for those involved with the case to appear.
Mewtwo would have had no problem taking them all out, but his employer wanted him to keep casualties to a minimum. But before he could spot his target, the pokemon felt a sudden pain as if he had been stabbed with a dagger from within his own mind. Once Mewtwo was able to get past the initial surprise, he blocked out the mental attack. Turning, Mewtwo saw a massive black dragon descending from the skies.
“No harm will come to Vin,” Shurikan declared, telepathically before roaring a steam of black fire at the pokemon.
The fire in the sky caught the attention of the on lookers. Citizens screamed as the fires died down quickly. Mewtwo blocked the attack with his psychic shield, “Over your dead body, I presume.”
Mewtwo vs Shruikan, both are at full power.
